The staff at this store have always been interested and helpful and recently I wished to exchange shoes, having bought a size to big. The smaller size was ordered and exchanged quickly and I thank Marlene for her service.
So far not a great experience with this store. I bought my 4 year old a bike. Did click and collect and when I arrived the bike was already assembled. That should have been a red flag. Got the bike home and it was filthy, scuffed and the seat was cut. Obviously it was the display bike no discount given, not even told this. I rang immediately to get the seat replaced, I didn’t care too much about the scuffs as it’s a kids bike, but a cut seat on a “brand new” $320+ kids bike seems a bit much. I was told to come straight in and they would replace it. I said I couldn’t get there till the weekend and was told that was fine. Drove down that Saturday, they don’t have the seat they will order it. Wish they had done that when I called on the Wednesday. Fine, whatever. I call back a week later, no seat, hasn’t been ordered. Get a text saying it will be here the next week. My husband calls the week after the seat was supposed to be here, told they’ll call him later. Still no call back.nApparently if you don’t get the staff members full name there are 2 Kyle’s your discussions never happened. Also it apparently takes more than 2 hours to look in their system that can only be accessed by the person you spoke to whose name you don’t know to see if a seat came in or was even ordered.nAt this point it feels like I have been scammed, I’m so disappointed, I was just trying to get my kid a good first bike but the whole experience is ruined. Please don’t shop here, it’s not worth the hassle.
Return customers as we purchased our last bikes here and were very satisfied. Needless to say we wont be purchasing again after the last interaction with 4642523-Christopher who didn't follow up with feedback. A big sales pitch and promised the bikes would arrive after 2 weeks. We are still waiting after 5 weeks so will be cancelling our order and requesting refund of deposit. I did think at the time his knowledge was lacking but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Lesson learnt go with your gut feeling!

Team at 99 bikes Ashmore have sorted me out multiple times with parts and spares and I recently got a Tokyo Fixie and I am loving it.nnThe staff listened to what I want, made suggestions and I walked away with a really good package for what I need.nnGreat bike for the money, works really well and is a heap of fun, and suits the commute and travels up and down along the beach paths and esplanades.
