My bike had seen better days and I thought there was not going to be much of a kick left in her. The bike was a top end bike and I had seen a steady decline in her performance and appearance over the years. Having chatted with Dave (the mechanic at 99 Bikes) and Ethan I thought to follow their advice. That was a good decision on my part. I went for the ultimate service and joined the bike club. Great advice and great service. It only costs $5 membership fee to join the club and you can sign up for membership at time of purchase to get an awesome discount. My bike had a complete strip down, all cables replaced, hubs overhauled, new chain and cassette, new bar tape, all part cleaned and lubricated, BB headset serviced, frame alignment checked...The standard of workmanship was top notch. I was also guided by Ethan's advice as to purchase of helmet and new shoes. Again great advice from an expert with massive experience both cycling and in the bike retail industry. There was no heavy sales pitch, but relaxed and friendly advice of a very high standard. The bike looked as new when Dave had finished his work. Included in the price is a complimentary tune up after 2 weeks. I like the after sales service. If I have a problem with anything or any concerns I can call and I am sure it will be attended to.

I came to the shop on my cheap bike from Kmart that I put a motor on. All I went to get was a brake pad for my front disc brake. I was greeted with a smile from I think the guy's name was Adrian. Was very helpful and even got the mechanic involved. The brake pad was going to cost me $30 but they suggested that maybe I get a hydraulic brake which was only $20 more. This was the best move I have ever made buying the hydraulic brake it is unreal I wish I knew about hydraulic brakes a long time before. I will definitely be visiting 99 Bikes again to buy all my accessories and parts for my bike and my children's bikes.

What a great shop. Made the long journey up from Rockingham today on the train and the short walk from the station to 99 bikes was great. The staff measured me up and got me into the bike that I was looking at on the website but was dubious about the size. Seems they had one in store and I took it home on the train with me. Become a club member and enjoy the very great discounts is my hot tip. I will be back even with the massive distance to the store for me!!

We recently purchase two mountain bikes from Ethan. We were extremely impressed with his customer service, knowledge and expertise. We were both professionally measured using their computer system to find the correct size bikes. The range of bikes was huge. We initially went to bike force and they had virtually nothing for us to look at or try...in our size. We took one bike on the day and the other was on order. The customer service via texts to inform us when the bike was arriving was excellent. Very highly recommend this bike shop...you will get the very best of customer servce.

Incredibly inexperienced staff. I will not be going back to his store when so many fantastic local options are just as close. The manager was also a strange fellow. Take your bike elsewhere if you want to enjoy riding it.
