Great coffee. Stopped in today to grab a takeaway. The staff are friendly and service was very quick. Lovely location too with seating in and outside. Catch the light rail at to Newcastle Beach and you’re there.
Coffee was great. Staff were so kind and personable. Location and atmosphere is excellent and the price is so reasonable. My toastie was quite bland and cool however and I did not enjoy it. My partner got the bagel supplied by Papa bagels that I love and enjoyed it a lot. Our food was easily customised to personal taste which was appreciated. Just the chicken needs more flavour
Very friendly staff and fresh food. We arrived right on closing but they offered to make us some take aways. Really enjoyed our quick lunch on route to Sydney.
Just coffee yesterday - an excellent iced latte. Also friendly staff - a great spot close to the Newcastle main beach. Food looked great - eg some awesome and large sandwiches.
Never been here before but was passing by and dropped in for a coffee. It was no schiit hands down the best coffee I have ever had in Newcastle. Actually the best coffee I can remember ever having so congrats to the barista on duty today, your passion for coffee is very much appreciated.
It's always disappointing when a tried and true great coffee shop slides down the rankings. It's still popular but that's perhaps more attributable to the close proximity to Newcastle Beach and being at the end of the tram line. The latte delivered was too hot and lacked strength. I'll try again in another year or so but since the original crew have moved on the love of coffee seems to have paled. Last review from quite some time ago : Always a great coffee and warming atmosphere, especially when you can sit at the open windowed bar area and enjoy your coffee as the world walks by.
It is crucial to know the difference between macchiato with a little extra hot milk and a " piccolo " otherwise you get a cold espresso and no milk, you get a teaspoon but no sugar. Does the employer know how to scrutinise people for this job?Food: 1/5
Today I tried 23Hundred Espresso for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. I ordered a Flat White and the taste was very very good. Nice velvety smooth taste and finish. The service was flawless with every staff member making every customer feel welcome. Will definitely be returning and definitely recommending to others to try 23Hundred Espresso.
1st time there, very impressed, good coffee & a delicious wrap, pleasant staff, I'll be back
