Best coffee in Newcastle/Hunter region with food to match. I always feel at home at Xtraction. Whether it’s grabbing a quick takeaway or dining in to savour the delicious menu, every meal is packed with flavour and freshness. Being family owned and run, the quality is guaranteed and you’re always greeted warmly by their friendly team.
Food was delicious and despite them being busy early in the morning before 9am they were very accommodating and we didn't have to wait very long for either drinks nor food. A great spot to just watch life head off to the beach while drinking your cold brew.

Covid safe protocols in place. Very friendly staff. Generous portion on food, a little too generous on some parts not enough toast for amount of Bolognese. Great coffee, got what felt like a large when ordered a medium.
Food was great, coffee was so good and the staff were so friendly!! Very quick service and nice vibe. Got some New York vibes when I was inside, it was very pleasant. It was pretty busy for takeaway coffee and there was not many spots to sit. But overall, it was very good and we will be going there again!!
This is the best coffee in Newcastle, service is amazing and the food is sublime. Always consistent every time I come back is the same quality.
