Manager was so rude. Absolutely disgusting considering this person is meant to be in charge of the store. Avoid this place and go to Shiels Castle Plaza or Grahams at Marion instead. I'll spend my money at a jewellery shop where I'll be treated fairly. I'd give zero stars if I could.
Not sure if the Manager is just incompetent or dishonest but I will not trust her again. Twice is enough for me. I can not recommend this Store. For the best services and prices go to Zamels Brickwork’s Store.
One staff member was extremely obnoxious and rude towards me when I paid over $2300 for an item that needed repair but most staff are very friendly. The quality of the jewellery is terrible though. I should have listened to a friend and never gone to Zamel's.
Purchased a bracelet for our and a link that was not soldered broke after 2 weeks. Sales woman outright refused to repair because 'in her expert opinion' our daughter was responsible. Have not and will not be back.
Unfortunately needed to return a gift bought for my neice, as there had been a double up on a pendant purchased in her birthday that we had not been aware of. Apparently this falls under "change of mind" i asked the sales rep even if its something that has aready been gifted? Her response was "well head office doesn't know that". Nice to know zamels reps are quick to blame head office for not wanting to do a return. Probably effects their kpi's The only conclusion was to purchase something else or get a credit note. Zamels are happy to take your money but not happy to keep customers. I do not recommend this store nor this brand.
I was helped by Christine at Zamels Marion and I can not recommend them enough. Christine went above and beyond in her customer service and helped me find my perfect wedding band. She was not pushy and genuinely wanted to help me find what I was looking for. She was knowledgeable, passionate and professional. She is an absolute asset to the company and I will be definitely be returning!
Having purchased a pair of earrings as a gift, I brought them home to find black tarnish marks on them. When I returned to the store the next day, I found that the only other pair of the earrings also had marks on them. Being out of time to get a new gift, I chose the least marked of them to take. When I asked if there was a discount as the earrings were tarnished, I was told no, as they were already on sale. I guess $85 was actually the price for selling damaged goods... Although there was no signage to warn of this. This coupled with the sales assistants complete lack of regard, showing no concern whatsoever an apology is basic customer service in these circumstances! means I won't be shopping at Zamels again.
The worst service and very expensive. We selected a watch to buy. It has a flat battery. The woman said no problems. Took it out the back and 5 minutes later she returned with the watch and it was ticking. Over the 8 months before the battery went flat we noticed the face would fog up occasionally. When the battery went flat we took it back to be replaced. They refused to replace the battery because they claim we took the back off. It was their staff member who obviously needed a sale, that took the back off and didn't test it! Weeks of to and fro with consumer affairs later they eventually agreed to send it off and said they would charge half price for a battery and pressure test. Half price, they claim, was $90! Graham's just down the mall charge $60 at full price. Never buy anything from Zamels, they lie, and are basically fraudulent in they activities with customers.
I have bought a Knot of yellow gold earrings for $200 but when I searched on the website it was $149. Unfortunately the yellow gold colour turn to black. Extremely dissatisfied with the product
The team at zamels marion were very helpful. Against their policy they decided to allow store credit for a return after considering my circumstance.
