Yatala Pie Shop

Always an excellent stop off to sample the famous Yatala Pie & Pea's. Plenty of Tomato sauce to go on this delicious pie. A busy place at most times, but the customer service is generally very efficient. Plenty of adequate parking for everyone. There is a Drive through area to purchase your assortment of pies and cake's. Located just of the main highway leading to Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

On a scale of 1 to awesome, they are awesome. Large pies with tasty chunky filling. I got a steak, bacon and cheese pie with mash potato, mash peas and gravy. YUM! The only downfall is having to eat with plastic cutlery. With plastic you just can’t maintain the structural integrity of each perfect bite 😂😂😂 (not actually complaining about the cutlery).

If you travel between Gold Coast and Brisbane you have to stop over at the Yatala pie shop. Best pies that I have ever had. Simply because it is a decent size to fill you up, chunky meat that makes it a genuine meat pie, the pea/mash add-on that you can put on the pie and the amazing gravy. Situated just a short turn off the highway, it makes it super convenient.

The iconic pie shop and been there since I was a child. You would be un-Australian if you did not stop by on the way to the Coast, or back, or both. Seriously quality pies and a great range of pastry desserts. Highly recommend the apple pie with fresh cream. Gets me every time. It can get busy with loads of tourists at times, but you always seem to be able to find a park, and the staff are friendly and extremely efficient, so wait times are pretty small.

Great pies. Sorry about the photo because I can not write a comment without try it. After eat stake mushroom pie I give 5 star comment. So far this is the best pie shop for my experience. But I do not like that cauliflower broccoli triangle. Not my cup of tea. Haven't try any dessert yet but absolutely delicious pies.
