My entire experience with YMF over the past 24 months could only be summarized as migraine inducing, highly frustrating, or hopeless. I will spare you the full essay that my ordeal deserves and give you the 3-point mini version instead: 
1. The draconian signup process is horribly dated, over-excessive and consumed 2-3 hours time at the motorcycle shop. An uncomfortable, commiserating reversal of mood from my (then) brand new motorcycle purchase.
2. Wondering how much interest you're being charged, what your current balance might be, want to change your details or get an account statement? I hope you like on-hold music.. The complete lack of transparency/visibility into your account status was frustrating beyond words and while the customer service representatives were the only positive thing to be said about YMF, justice simply can't be done having to make a phone call to request an account statement to be sent via email/post. An web-based portal would be great !
3. After finally securing a final lump-sum payment to clear the remaining balance on the account and after sending to YMF via bank cheque, somehow the accountants managed to 'lose the payment' (I had supplied the correct reference info on payment) which required further validation from the banks. This took ONE MONTH to resolve and daily phone calls to check on the status. No apologies were given.

In conclusion, -NO- I would not recommend this finance company to anyone, until these core issues have been resolved.
