Tried to phone all week no one answers. Left a number of messages no returned call. Decided to turn up today with mum to see someone or make an appointment. Was treated like a number. Here's your appointment date in 6 weeks. This place is so understaffed it's not funny. The whole experience was just awful. Decided to phone another place, phone was answered straight away got an appointment this week spoke to someone with compassion. Our loved ones are not a number.
This is a very nice cemetery located in the Sutherland Shire The Chapels are a reasonable size, there is plenty of parking available. The cemetery roads are not very wide, but generally not busy, good for walking, cycling around. There are also nice “dedication / tributes” around to look at read
The gardens are beautiful, the admin & sales staff must be terribly under resourced. Literally can’t get return phone calls to arrange a plaque and laying of ashes. Now looking at historical Google reviews, it’s how it is at Woronora Cemetery.
A peaceful place to lay someone to rest. Also a lovely place to walk and contemplate life. The flower gardens are particularly well maintained and beautiful. The crematorium and chapels are grand Art Deco.
Very clean and looked after cemetery… it is quiet, enabling quiet contemplation. Beautiful and green.
Charged $810 to place my fathers ashes in the casket with my mother. Also charged $1620 to put my grandparents ashes in the same hole as my parents. That’s $2430 for one hole I had already paid for. Plus they were inefficient and disorganised.
Very calm & solemn place to remember your loved ones. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Toilet facilities are clean and has provision for wheelchairs and prams.
Nicely maintained. Just don't try to find a particular grave there even if you have the details. Signposting is inadequate. No decent map. Section numbering inconsistent. Insufficient staff. Frustrating.
Have now rung up twice about my mothers plaque, which is incorrect. Rang on Monday, told someone will ring me back Tuesday, no call , rang them again Friday, “will look into it”. This treatment is disgusting. As if it’s not hard enough losing your mother, the care factor is nil. YOU made the error, and I don’t know how many people I have to talk to, to get this fixed??? There is never anyone who can assist, only “take a note of it” For goodness sake, get your staff trained.
Very poor. My mum had an appointment on 27th January to organise place for memorial for my deceased father. We paid the invoice the next day at Westpac, and sent email same day with inscription details, and requesting confirmation. She has tried to ring them 3 times to confirm payment received and everything okay with the inscription, but they have not returned her calls. I escalated at 9 am this morning, as my mum was very upset by their failure to return her calls, and they still have not returned my call. The phone system is atrocious: I was on hold music for over 5 minutes. I suspect a very disorganised and dysfunctional back office at this organisation.
