It’s the biggest cemetery in the southern hemisphere.nnTip - If your not familiar with the cemetery research before going so you don’t get lost inside.nnArtworks:nnI suppose it would be different each year, all sorts of media from sculptures, ceramics, metal, bamboo.nnArtworks are tastefully on paths  not on graves.nnIt was something to do, gave us a bit of exercise 40mins-hour depending on how fast you walk.nnGood for all ages/family. It gives you a chance to not only appreciate art but the surrounding old graves. I found myself checking out old graves and thinking about those that are buried there.nnCost:nnFree!nnWould I Return?:nnDefinitely.nnOverall - 4.5/5 Stars

The underground culture is awesome, and always packed full of people of many different cultures and nationalities. Very accommodating to people of all background. I'm dying to come in, and it's best to get in early or later - makes no difference.

This place definitely NEEDs to start offering electric scooter and Segway hire, maybe even golf caddy hire. Spending the day exploring here will KILL your legs and joints. It takes like an hour to walk from 1 side to the other. I am begging for the owners to start offering e-scooter hire so visitors can explore more. It's also more enjoyable than walking. Anyways, here's some pics.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Melina. She helped me transfer my great great grandfathers burial lot into my name so we could finalise a commemorative grave with Department of veteran affairs . He professionalism and friendly personality was amazing she really made the whole process stress free .nnThank you to Melina and all the lovely staff at Rookwood cemetery.nnShayden.

My Grandmother's ashes was burried here in Rookwood Cemetry Exceptional service done with detail n pride Special Thanks to Team members Leona, Grant Skinner , Michelle n Adian I hope i got your name spelling right and the guy who placed the ashes in the plot  sorry forgot to ask for your name  he did it slowly asked if it was placed in the middle need any adjustments then  gave us time to do our Ceremony.nThe All Souls Chapel is a peaceful venue to hold a Funerals  lots of parking available so no need to worry disability n toilet facilities available too. Their bookings office is just around the cornernRest in Peace done magnificently with comfort n style ! Amen
