Luckily I didn't need to make a claim but I gave Worldcare a high rating due to its easy online purchase. I had an operation in December which doesn't affect my travel ability and with Worldcare's online prompts, I was able to advise what it was and so wasn't charged extra. With all other travel insurance companies I got a quote from, I either had to phone for more information or would have been charged extra.
Have used Worldcare 3 times now. Easy on-line application process even for someone with a pre-existing medical condition. Price was more than competitive with other major travel insurance providers. Made one claim and it was settled quickly and efficiently. Will definitely use again.
We have now used World Travel Insurance for a many years for multiple trips to Europe, USA and China and are most satisfied with their service. We’ve had a minor medical incident and they were immediately available for guidance and support. Their claims process and Department Staff are very professional and easy to deal with and resolve claims expeditiously.
Good value for 3.5 weeks in Japan, especially with the ski package added in. Gave us the right cover and security for everything we needed. Easy to use website, clear information and legible disclosure documents. Would be happy to use again.
Have had only one minor claim which was paid promptly. Very satisfied with this Company. Would have given 5 stars if they hadn't changed their website. New one will quote only the total price. Should still have the break down of basic, age loading etc. Total gives you no guide regarding any changes to costs in what area so comparisons are difficult. Please change back Worldcare Travel to breaking down the actual costs.
The real measure of an insurer is how they perform when you need them for a claim. World Care were unbelievably fast and easy regarding a hire car excess claim - less than 24hrs from first contact to notification that they'd accepted/paid it, and this was during the week berween Christmas and New Year. Very highly recommended.
We didn't need to claim but Worldcare has a comprehensive and flexible product at a very competitive price. We have used them annually for the past few years and are happy to use them again and recommend to others.

I was really disappointed with World Care as the only way to contact Australia was through reverse charges and you need a landline. The places we stayed had no landlines. We had a sim for all of Europe but could not make international calls. The only way we could contact them was ringing my Mum via Viber and getting her to contact Worldcare and requesting they ring our number in Europe. Yes there was an office in Spain but no one or very fewspeak English in Spain. Besides when I need to make a claim I want to be able to speak to my home country so nothing is lost in translation. Just before I left Europe I requested and upgraded seat as I needed extra room for a moonboot. The emails with all info requested just kept bouncing back to me. I asked my mother to send the information as she was in Australia but no her emails bounced back also. All the information was sent through via the portal but the medical team said they couldn’t access this information. How ridiculous. I am not happy at all with this company and won’t be using them again.
