Had a very disgruntled employee serving me in the Delicatessen tonight at Howitt St. She did not look happy She did not greet with a smile nor ask how she could help with my order. Didn't say anything really!nOther staff members ask if we're happy with the amount of product they've picked up to bag, not this one and wasn't asked if I needed anything else after passing my goods either!nA smile to greet customers wouldn't be to much to ask surely, the majority of us have spent the day at work love!
Not happy with a couple of the women workers here because every time I go in with a backpack they single me out and want to see in my bag when everyone else just walks in with one and walks out without being asked anything I'm Goan to call head office and put a complaint in they have no right to look in anyone's bag unless they've actually seen you put something in it plus they're not police officers they are just employees like anyone else they don't ask not one person only me to the point I'm done with it it's wrong degrading also profiling me because of the way I look I have a lot of tattoos and people have always told me I look crazy I hate it these 2 women are using it against me last time I was there one of them said rudely I wanna look in ya bag this time I showed her then she said I didn't see I said to bad I'm not showing you again in front of other people that weren't asked nothing it was so rude

Shopping here for 25 years. There has been huge and gradual change. Not for the better. The staff are lovely but they are working under stress, short staffed, and dealing with obnoxious customers and school students pilfering snacks through the self serve. I watch these kids and I've even contacted the school where these wealthy kids come from. Mainly women staff members having to chase after and confront 6 foot high teenagers. Is this fair?????nWoolworths has gradually reduced its range of everything including the deli which has had product lines eliminated and they've made huge stickers to cover several windows on the deli casements. I've noticed this on other WW stores. Why??nFor some reason the quality of fruit and vegetables is not great at times. Perhaps there is a perception that Wendouree is a low socio economic area. There are hundreds of very wealthy households in Lake Wendouree- a 5 minute walk away- who are now taking their grocery $$$ elsewhere.
