Woolworths claims to have the best fruit and vegetables, and to be honest, nowhere close to that sadly. Fruit sits moldy for days, no one checks it and when I complained, no one seemed to care. The day after, still there. The amount of rubbish laying around the shop and their parking lot is just gross.
Literally shelved a non-gluten free item in the gluten free freezer section. It's bad enough the packaging is already similar between the gf and non-gf option for that frozen pizza - what would possess someone to do that. The whole freezer shelf is for gluten free products? The pizza pictured is not gluten free???nAlso price gouging - shame there's no Aldi's in Tasmania.nAlso for the love of God could they contract someone to pick up the trash in the underground carpark that comes from the loading dock / gross customers who can't use rubbish bins.
Eh, not bad and not necessarily good.nnIt has a great selection of international items which I appreciate but not a big diversity of international items, which is a bit disappointing, but I am excited about them integrating more Korean products.nnThe staff are helpful which is why I rated them 4/5, I really appreciate when the staff check in the back for an item that isn't on the shelves.
I would never shop here again. I've shopped here for decades but last time I got ridiculed at the self checkout for some things I had brought from the chemist. I left them separate on the floor and the attendant who has seen me shop here year after year decided to ridicule me and make me feel like I stole them even though it was so obvious I hadn't. I am now switching to Coles for all my shopping. What an unpleasant experience.
I usually appreciate the convenience of Woolworths, but my experience at the Sandy Bay location left a lot to be desired, especially in terms of parking. The lack of ample parking space was a significant letdown, making the whole shopping experience more stressful than it needed to be. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work towards improving this aspect.
