I recently purchased two pomegranates, looking forward to enjoying their juicy, ruby-red seeds. However, when I got home and inspected them more closely, I was disappointed to discover that one of the pomegranates was moldy. The outer skin appeared fine at first glance, but a closer look revealed black & brown mold indicating that it was off. This was frustrating, as I had specifically chosen what seemed like fresh, vibrant fruit at the store. Now, I was left with only one good pomegranate and a sense of wasted effort and money. I have been shopping at hill street for quite some time and I am disappointed to say I will never shop here again
Not helpful, store is so small and workers are in the way packing shelves etc: Don't expect a fast service, you'll be waiting in line. They do sell local produce which is definitely a draw card for many. Overall it's convenient for last minute things.
Purchased a birthday cake here for my partner, 60$, mould growing in the cake, no refund offered when I returned. Store is overpriced and crowded in general, won’t be going back.
This is a wonderful IGA chain. Worth the high prices; great, helpful staff.
Very small store but excellent variety. Love the salad and pre-prepared food options. Small parking lot with short parking but really it is enough time to get in and out. Staff at front were wonderfully helpful and friendly.
