Great store, good customer service.nnHowever. You are very lucky. Today I witnessed public defamation, and defamation of character. With some very poor choice in wording.nnI'd strongly recommend you teach your staff how to deal with theft complaints appropriately, because I assure you, if you had of called the cops on that old man you ACCUSED of putting stuff in his pocket, I would of ensured that the undertrained staff member got sued.nnFirstly, your boundary line is your doorway. You'd do well to remember it.
Don't be fooled by its appearance it's got a lot of wonderful goods and all the items I need in my weekly shop packed into a nice compact store, really great cheese and deli section
The old lady probably worked there for over 10 years and seems to have a problem with Asian customers, because she's always very busy greeting the other white grandmas, instead of doing her job. Always asked to check the students' school bags, especially when they are not with their parents. She also want's the customers to follow exactly her rules. I left the self-checkout machine during shopping to quickly grab a bag of flour that I forgot. It only took me 30 seconds to come back and there was only 1 other customer who was using the self-checkout. The store was quite and there were 8 other machines where empty. This old lady stopped me and gave me a lecturer on why I 'have to' tell the staff first. Well, first of all, there were no one serving the self-checkout area. and second, her job is to make shopper's life easier, not harder.
The Woolworths Brighton supermarket has everything you need and is easy to navigate. There is ample parking behind store however spaces are also taken by those shopping on busy Church Street. They still have the old metal trolleys thank god unlike the Moorabbin store which has new smaller recycled plastic trolleys with no brakes which astounds me when Moorabbin car park on a slope. The store has been updated and is as spacious as the Highett and Southland stores and the aisles are spacious, unlike Bentleigh store.
There is free fruit for kids.nKind front desk staff.nSushi is really fresh and yammy.nWe love the sushi here.nI will go there again.
