This Coles has nearly everything you could possibly want, I say nearly as my local Coles has a particular vegetarian burger I love and I was literally walking past this one and they didn't have. Oh well can't get everything! But has probably another 10,000 items to choose from.
Plenty of parking, Lift access from car park. Wide aisles. Good fruit and vegetables. Pleasant staff. Only downside is only one or two assisted checkouts.
used to be the best supermarket in the area, however now it’s not even worth going too, lots of products that I used to purchase are not here. I no longer buy the fresh fruit and vegetable there because the section especially the herbs are mostly always rotten. The management of the supermarket needs to change. after 8pm, don’t bother going to the deli, there’s never anybody there and you get frowned upon by asking to get something for something. you’re better off going to Woolworths in Brighton…
Great Staff.. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.nnNice white Isles. Everything is clearly marked. Great deli and bakery is his shopping with easy parking. I love Coles Bay Street, Brighton
Modern and generally not rammed with people. My issue is that at this particular Coles, they employ more people to stand around watching you suspiciously than to help you scan and put things in your bags.nThey've even got the audacity to have checkouts with conveyor belts where you load your stuff on as much as will fit, then go and scan and pack it, then go back to get anything that's still in your trolley and repeat. While they stare at you. Coles will say this is passed on through cost savings. I call B-S on that as their crack team of starers can't possibly catch all theft and therefore those of us who don't nick stuff will be paying for those who do - as well as providing unpaid labour. Having said all this, it's sort of entertaining watching the Chelsea Chariots try to navigate the very tight turns in the underground car park without trashing their alloys - right up until the point at which your learner driver does exactly that.
