This store could definitely use improvements. It's small and tends to feel cluttered, with stock often running low. The setup is old-fashioned, and the parking lot could be safer for customers. A refresh would make a big difference!
Customer service and Coles policies appalling. Anyone would think they doing it hard with money. I accidentally purchased coffee pods that were too big for a Nespresso machine. Because I had opened up the packet a little they would not let me exchange. So instead of writing off $5.50 or giving to a staff member they chose not to allow their loyal customer a replacement.nIf you ever are in the situation when the instore price is incorrect, eg a sale price, but at the register showed a higher price, they will only allow ONE item at sale price all the rest I had to pay full price. Totally their fault but I had to pay full price. Hence I didn't purchase the pet food and I no longer shop at Coles.nYeah Coles really care about their customers. All they care about is their profit!
Terrible store. The only place where you can not take the basket to the car in the parking lot. I bought groceries yesterday and went to my car in the parking lot. An employee ran after me with a demand to return the basket.She shouted that I had no right to take a basket and was obliged to pack the goods in bags and take them out. It was terrible. I felt disgusting. I basically do not buy packages and transfer products to boxes in cars. They forced me to buy packages from them. This violates my rights
Just went there befote 10am, at least 7-8 staff around the register, but only one check-out opened. I wanna do cash out, and was told I have to buy something. No staff want to serve at the customer service counter.nProbably the worst Coles I have ever been in 15 years!
Staff and friendly enough this review and rating is more about the constant harassment by staff when you’re scanning your products at the self serve to do your “large/bulky item first”. This is not the frontline staff fault it is a direction from the senior management and it is getting beyond a joke and I’m feeling I should be left alone to scan my items in any order I choose, for me it’s about easy of packing and organising MY purchases how I choose to as I’m now expected to do this process myself.nI’m going to go to the North Brighton Cole’s today and see if it’s the same harassment there about bulky items, if it I will strongly consider changing my brand loyalty to WOOLWORTHS.nI spend on average $500 a week with Cole’s supermarkets and do like the fact I walk into a store and generally know where to find the products I want but if this directive does not change at Cole’s bentleigh I will learn to love WOOLWORTHS.nLET ME SCAN MY ITEMS IN PEACE COLES BENTLEIGHnI reiterate this rating is directed solely at the senior management or which ever knuckle head thought you need to enforce this ridiculous idea
