My wife and I were here today 21 MAY 2026 checking out shops in Bentleigh. We are both yearly visitors to Melbourne and we are from Singapore. And we thought we should also check out this Coles supermarket even though we have shopped at many Coles supermarket whenever we are in Melbourne. As with most Coles supermarkets, the one here in Bentleigh has a wide variety of products therein and it is very well stocked. I even spotted a couple of items here that I did not see at the other Coles supermarkets. By the way, the Coles supermarket in Bentleigh is off the main road Centre Road through Bentleigh town, and it is somewhat near Bentleigh Station.
On Sunday morning 30/08/2026 06:10am as I’m in the store at the bakery a staff member was removing like a large 30 LT bag as she stuffed it with bakery items then squashed it into the bags for disposal you have Salvation Army up the road that give out donations for food but Cole’s doesn’t want to be part of a responsible community to feed the homeless! Absolutely greedy corporation! Shop elsewhere folks!
Loving our Bentleigh Coles store.nAlthough small in size it has that local store atmosphere. The staff are always attentive and always happy to assist you, a special shout out to Sharyn for exceptional service. Keep up the great work.nAlex and Sue
Tons of parking and a very good place to shop with a good selection of everything pretty much + nice clean shop. I would be wary though about buying lamb forequarters chops at a Supermarket anymore now though, cos all of them are now selling far too much fat in those + which used to be trimmed many yrs ago, but now they are leaving way too much fat + in some cases very obvious lumps of that + Butchers would be a better buy.
Upgrade of fridges great, nice and modern. This is my local store and today I wanted to purchase a gift card with my shopping. I lined up at the register only to be told that for the gift card I had to purchase via self checkout…what. I then lined up to the self checkout and scanned then had to get assistance. This is very frustrating and a waste of my time. If you’re going to implement different procedures at different store at least have the appropriate signs so that customers know. VERY FRUSTRATED
