Was waiting at the deli to purchase some sliced meats on Sunday. Three staff were standing behind the counter talking and swearing between themselves. Two could see me and that I was waiting. Then another staff member joined in the conversation and also looked at me. I waited a little longer and listened to more swearing and laughing between them.nI ended up walking off.nExtremely disappointed with the lack of service and swearing.
I have grown up going to this particular Ritchie’s since i was 3, recently i’ve been greeted with discrimination and profiling by front desk staff countless times. When they have had no reasoning to being suspicious as all the times i’ve had my receipt in my hand but they still follow me thinking they are discreet but really it’s just them being obnoxious. They showed clear signs of treating me different to non biracial people through out the store. It is a shame as a local to experience especially since it’s supposed to be for the community.
Good variety of food items both frozen and fresh, easy walkways plenty of parking, liquor store across the lane huge selection,,
I actually went into the shop in order to apply for some part time work, but the manager was not in for the remainder of the day. It was very disappointing that there was no followup at least to acknowledge that I had made the effort to come in to offer my services.
I'm not one for dictation, as I don't go to Coles a woolworths for the very same reason. I came to your store today only to be greeted with self service only? Left your staff to put it all back. Good bye, never comming back.
