I’d like to give a well-deserved 5 stars to the staff member at the checkout counter. I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name but I’ll grab his name next time – he is a short-hair Asian guy. I’ve had the pleasure of being served by twice now, during late Wednesday shifts.nnHis service is truly outstanding: he is so customer-focused, always happy to help, and consistently goes above and beyond to assist every customer. Thank you so much!nnNot sure if this review will be read by the store manager or not, but just wanted to put it out here that you have an amazing staff member.
This store is always super clean and it's well laid out and so are the shelves making it usually pretty easy to find what you want. The shelves also usually well stocked with a good selection especially the fresh produce such as the fruit and vegetables. The weekly specials are also great.nnThis woolies is conveniently located for train travelers passing by and has good customer car parking including an undercover section with two hour parking which is usually quite enough time for our shopping. Unlike others, I've always found the staff at this store to be very helpful and friendly.
I feel incredibly loyal to Woolworths Moorabbin, I worked there as a teenager and as adult have shopped there for years and years but is frustrating when so many products are often out of stock. Also since redevelopment store dark in some areas and new large trolleys are smaller than previous large metal trolleys. But worse the floor is not level so trolleys wander off down aisles on their own. They also do not have brakes and the new car park is on a slope! The staff put all heavy bottles in one bag and all super light stuff in another instead of doing half and half. I could go on but you get the picture! Also will So Good fresh lite soy milk ever return? 9.8.21. Full trolleys don't roll over speed bump have to physically lift front wheel over. 22.8 Monday mornings always so nice and quiet! 31.10 get in quick to snap up franchise products. Was there when they'd just unpacked so yes brought up a bit for the sci-fi loving teenager I know. 30.10.23 see last line, as have just done again! 27.2.34 grabbed some last minute Easter eggs. Way more than I need to for gifts to everyone but so hard to decide!
Sadly they continue to remove more and more regular items off the shelves and bring in woke products that no one buys, evidenced by shelf always being full. All staff though are very helpful and friendly except 1 security guard tall, middle aged, olive skin, balding on top, average weight who proceeds to follow me around the store most times I’m there! I’m in my 40’s usually wearing my nursing scrubs and have never ever not paid for something and never had my bags checked and spend hundred of dollars in store so only reason he follows me is he is profiling me for having tattoos! I’ll add I have no criminal history either which is evidenced by me being a Nurse can’t work with criminal record I immediately get nervous as soon as I see him working and I’m just coming in for groceries, it’s not ok. Lost 3 stars for bad product selection and that one guard. I will say they have a great guard though, middle aged white male who always has a smile and a hello or goodbye! Even when I come in with my PJs on lol! No judgement from him and I upped the score 1 star to 3 for him being so wonderful
I feel like my groceries have been getting worse in quality from this place.nLuckily today I picked up my groceries, ate a biscuit still in date while I unpacked them. As I went to store them I realised they were mouldy.nThanks woolies, the fresh food people!
