Terrible experience with spoiled chicken!nI bought a pack of chicken wings from this supermarket, and even though the expiry date was still valid, the meat had already turned green and smelled absolutely rotten. This is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious issue with storage or handling. I hope the store takes responsibility and improves their quality control.
Very handy with all the necessities that you could want and need, irrespective of if you are business or pleasure. Easy access with accessibility escalators and parking on ground floor. Nice staff and clean store where things are easy to find.
Was great but not anymore.nnThis used to be my go-to supermarket for big and small grocery shops. The undercover parking and location is great.nnThat was until a couple of weeks ago. It now feels going into a jail. The parking is a chaotic, you have to buy a 50c token to get a trolley unchained and there are auto-gates to get out of the self-check-out area.nIt is not longer a pleasant or convenient place to shop. I will be changing to another supermarket for my regular shop.nnPARKING:nThey have introduced a camera operated parking system with boom gates, which has reduced the amount of entrances in and out, and reduced parking. There are yellow bollards EVERYWHERE and feels claustrophobic. It is more difficult to move around the car park and to find a park. Previously I never had any problem getting a park. It used to be really easy to zip in and out to pick up a few items, but not anymore.nnTROLLEYSnYou now need to buy a 50c token to unchain a trolley. Yes, you get the token back when you return the trolley. But I know I will loose the tokens and have to keep buying more. Not just the expense but the inconvenience of having to keep going to the front desk to buy a token. I'm sure you can also use a coin but who carries coins anymore?nAs a result today, I saw only about 1 in 10 people using a trolley in the store. People were juggling holding items, using the bottom of their pram or lugging the green baskets around. It really isn't giving shoppers incentive to pick up that extra item they see. Instead of doing my large shop today, I decided to just get the bare minimum and do my large shop later in the the week at a more convenient supermarket.nnSELF-CHECK OUT GATESnThese usually haven't been an issue...however today they weren't opening properly and people had to wait for staff to activate the gate to open. When it came time for me to leave, there were three of us waiting at the gate and it didn't open until someone approached with a trolley.nnI understand theft and over parking is an issue. However these changed have now made it unpleasant to shop there and I will now be be going elsewhere. I doubt I'm the first or last shopper to do the same.
Thank you for sorting the parking situation out. I can actually shop now rather than drive around for 15 minutes looking for a spot. Obviously a large number of locals were using it as free daily work parking. Great store and staff
Used to be a great place to get groceries on my way home, but now I have to carry a coin or a token to use a bloody trolley. Pain in the arse, I never carry coins so I'll go out of my way to shop elsewhere. I don't know why they would suddenly start doing that? If there is indeed a way to use my card to buy a token, then it's not clearly posted anywhere.
