Self-checkout staff here suck, rude, grumpy when they finally come over to assist after making you wait. I've come here lots and it's usually the same story. Go down the road to King's Meadows and they treat you fine, why just this store?
Busy supermarket, open until 11pm. Great fresh produce, awesome meat department and friendly, good, helpful staff here. Choice of either easy free roadside parking, or free carpark with entries and exits on both Wellington and Balfour Streets.
Great supermarket, had what we needed and was walking distance from out hotel.
Local brand Supermarket with variety of choice. Open till midnight. Has trolley wipes for hygiene purpose. With plenty car park by it.
Brilliant customer service. I was in a bad mood and not being very polite, and the woman on duty today handled it perfectly. I wasn't going to go back to that store and because she was so nice, I will be back. Not often you see people who don't take every little slight as offensive. That's exactly how I treat angry customers at my family's businesses in Sydney. If someone is in a bad mood and if you keep calm and be polite to them, it most probably will result in gaining a loyal customer. It's so rare to see people like her anywhere these days, let alone Tasmania.
