Appalling customer service at Coles Kings Meadows this week. The staff member she said she's the supervisor of the deli counter was disrespectful and abrupt from the outset, and this worsened when I needed to change my order. When trying get her to see how her behaviour isn't acceptable, she loudly snapped at me 'YOU CAN GO!' more than once and I was so humiliated and upset I decided to film it. When I spoke to a more senior member of staff about the incident, suggesting that the abusive member of staff needs more customer service training, I was told at some length what a great person that staff member is and what a great job she does, before being rudely chastised for filming I hadn't known it isn't allowed and told that if a customer films anything, then staff policy is to no longer engage with the customer or take the matter further. No interest was shown in viewing my footage. So with no other recourse, I've written to the Coles Group Chair and Directors of the Board, and included my footage. After 30+ years I won't be shopping at Coles in future!
Great Coles in Kings Meadows. Nice big store with a huge vege section and great bakery. Coles should have all their stores like this.
Fresh produce is better quality controlled than it used to be, on my last few visits. Some stock is hard to find at times, it's not always where you thought it might be, because this isn't my normal Coles place
It is the largest supermarket in launceston. It is nice and convenient supermarket. Easy parking, easy access to shop. It has mochi, macarons, coffee, and fresh orange juice.
Excellent produce, meats, and deli—well-laid out floor plan and courteous staff!
