I’m slinging out 5 stars because I know it comes from a good place but tell the young girl with brown hair not sure of her name working the registers to tone the niceties down. She is way over the top! Good job for attempting customer service but she was freaking everyone out. Even the person serving me kept looking over at her. She was so ‘friendly’ she almost looked like she was in pain.
Have shopped here for 24 years due to convenience. Have noticed recently a huge drop in standards. Fruit and veg selection has gone down hill, whilst the store has reduced the width of the aisles, making it difficult to get passed others when buying fresh produce.nnGoing into the store, I frequently have to go hunting for a shopping basket, normally dirty, cause the staff don't replenish them at the entrances.nnNow with the warehouse strike, and much reduced stock on the shelves, I have transferred my business to La Manna and Coles. And I am happier for the change.nnWoolworths Gladstone Park is truly a sad shopping experience, one that I will now try to avoid in the future.
WORST WOOLWORTHS AROUND.nYou can never ever get a trolley. If there are trolley's, they are at the opposite end of the entrance and you have to go hunt them down I've made so many complaints to management about their not being any trolley's and nothing ever seems to be done about it as this issue has been going on for a very long time now! One particular trolley collector is very rude and abusive, so watch out!nSome of the staff are very, very rude. They have no manners and have no clue as to the woolworths policies. The manager does not bother to call you back! And the staff will most of the time not answer the phone if you call!nThe staff on Saturday evening/night are the absolute worst, especially those in charge who think they know the woolworths policies but in actual fact don't have a clue I know as I've called and spoken to management at head office!!!nI've been going to this woolworths for 40 plus years since I was a child with my mum, and it has gone downhill and is getting worse.nCleanliness has a lot to be desired, and you don't need to look to see the dirt, all you need to do is smell the air!!!nIf something happens and you need the security guard, well too bad as he is not around anywhere, he will show up when he is no longer neededThis happen to me and the security guard appeared after everything was over and the abuser had left!!!!! The incident that I experienced was cause by a staff member who has no clue what the Woolworth policies are and could not handle the pressure of her job while it was busy!.nI've given a 1 star as this was the lowest option, if I could I would give a minus rating. I no longer do my shopping here anymore, I've chosen to do my big shop at Coles and only pop into Woolworths to get 1 or 2 things that are on special.
Almost as cold as Antarctica!nnVery friendly staff, good range of products but freezing cold. So cold that it’s impossible to do a proper shop. Got a few items and left.nnHave been before and it was warm but there was no heating in sight. It’s winter, bring the heaters back!nnCare about your staff first and foremost by providing a comfortable workplace. Then think about how comfortable it is for your customers to shop at the store.
