I have just been here to pickup an order.  The storefront staff is pretty rude, she was looking at me but wasn’t ready to come forward to ask me what I’m here for . Even when there were nobody at the counter. She was just standing there and ignoring me.  And another person said I don’t work here, she will be looking after you  Great staff   This happens just now, right now. 11:25 AM.

Already posted on Facebook Terrible service if there's any one there to serve U, we were all told we'd have to wait 20MINS for the person to come back from there break!!!!!!! No one else was qualified to slice/serve!!! There were no communication to staff they had no idea we were all standing there for 30mins plus I couldn't leave I needed chicken necks for my dogs.....50 mins later we get served by duty manager....Never again Coburg is the worst Safeway experience.. Brunswick is the Best by FAR.......

legit I have gotten groceries from here for my whole life and never had a problem, very reliable and never had missing food from orders. One time they even accidentally gave us free food.

I’m disgusted and appalled by the service provided at this store. Sales staff are rude, disrespectful and have disgusting attitudes toward their customers. I witnessed another customer being abused by a staff member, her name tag had Daniela written on it. Appalling behaviour, I will never return to this store.

Lovely staff !!! But air-conditioning was not working on a 38 degree day. I fact certain areas of thr shop it was hot air. Poor staff honestly.

Yeah look it's been great fir years,and you have the complimentary beggar at the front ready to relieve you off a dollar but hey it's worth the $1 ,the place is good

Disrespectful staff, always out of stock and the specials are almost always incorrect but by the time you scan them and realise the staff aren't there to help you. Absolute nightmare, save yourself the trouble and go to the Coles across the street.  Edit: since this review I was then harassed by unmarked "security officers" who wouldn't show me any ID and yelled at me until I let them search my bags. After finding nothing that wasn't on my receipt they refused to apologise and threatened to ban me from the store. Absolutely useless, as if this place couldn't get any worse!

Understaffed at best. Lately all standards around the store have slipped. Minimal anything service wise. Just not a pleasant store to shop at.  Shame it’s my local. Shadow of it’s former self.

Whilst in Melbourne temporarily during CoVid-19, changes have been noted to the Health and Wellness category fixtures, digital and e-commerce offerings. Confusing oral care fixtures, where brand over format is being applied. 'Sensitive' purchasing options ever more time consuming across the brands. Similarly the ice cream and frozen dessert categories and laundry. The digital and technological offerings are better than those provided by Coles.  Further to my Chemist Warehouse reviews, we note that the Rule of Law and procedural fairness has not been applied by VCAT.  '' On another note Premier Dan Andrews, can you ask VCAT to pick up their game with tenancy tribunal claims. Self funded and semi-retired widowed migrant women, do not deserve to wait over 2 years to have claims heard. Certain dishonest tenants being allowed to play the system after they damaged the property. We did not receive any monetary support from the Government during CoVid lockdown in Australia or abroad due to age and other discrimination and had no wages or business income. I attach these comments to this review, as over a dozen calls to VCAT go unactioned and justice is not being met for honest citizens. VCAT refuses to follow the rule of law and illegal proceedings have been conducted. Albanese and Andrews, who will intervene now.''  Refusal to treat during a medical emergency by the Royal Women's Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The former directing me to the later and then assaulted and harassed by security staff.  A complaint to the Health Commission of Victoria, Mr Daniel Andrews and Prime Minister Mr Albanese, pre and post his election not addressed.  It is disgusting that an honest citizen is being bullied in this manner and harrassed in Australia, the United Kingdom, the USA and Europe. Continual digital interference and Rule of Law denied.

Well stocked with food and items and the staff are friendly too!
