Woolworths Ballarat Central is a fantastic supermarket right in the heart of town.nnThe store is clean, well organised, and features wide, spacious aisles that really ease trolley traffic, making shopping easy, comfortable and stress-free even during busy periods. Shelves are well stocked and beautifully organized.nnThe fresh produce section is great. The bakery part is good and might even be better if a move-around of the kitchen staff happens.nnParking is more than sufficient. This is a huge plus for a central location and makes visits quick and convenient.nnThe staff are friendly, approachable, and always happy to help when needed. Checkout is efficient - whether you opt for self-checkout or a manned one - it’s all a breeze.nThe overall atmosphere feels clean, welcoming and well managed.nnA big shop or a quick top-up? They got you.
The self-checkout staff were very polite. the complimentary gift was thrown to me like trash. No retraining or warnings were needed; I simply arrived at 8:50. I should have arrived earlier and not caused the employees to work overtime.
They don't answer the phone, over $150 of my online order was missing. I'm trying to call to see if it was left at the shop by accident and I can come get it or if left in the truck. This is ridiculous.nCalled over 10 times and it rang out every time. Now I've been on hold to woolworths customer service for over 30 minutes.nI don't want to message the app and get a refund if my order is there and I can just come get it. This is RIDICULOUS.
Really lovely worker went to walk off but saw me standing to get served so she called me through and couldn't apologize enough for not seeing me soon enough. Kept saying if it wasn't for you/ customers they wouldn't be working. Ballarat central
I shop here occasionally, and while the store isn't as bright as the one nearby, it's still pleasant and easy to navigate. Prices tend to be higher. However, they stock some of the items that I need, are hard to find elsewhere. Overall, a convenient option when I need something specific.
