WIP Construction commenced operation in Cairns more than 10 years ago and in that time has built up a solid reputation for construction management abilities in both the domestic and commercial areas.
WIP Construction is a privately-owned building and Construction Company established in 2005. Throughout our history, we have evolved into one of Cairns’ most respected and high performance builders in Cairns and the Far North. Our business has been slowly growing since its inception from its residential roots to include a wide range of commercial building projects, civil infrastructure, project management as well as asbestos removal.

With our office in Stratford, Cairns, WIP Construction has a strong base of operations, for construction work all across North Queensland including Cape York and the Torres Strait. We are also familiar with remote work that has seen us working in far Western Queensland through to island communities including Thursday Island. We pride ourselves on our local knowledge and understand all aspects of living in the North.

We have been building relationships with many local architects, project managers and building designers in the Cairns region, providing a quality building service that has been well recognised by our commercial and residential clients including consultants and Suppliers.

Our business employs staff from around the Cairns Region and Tablelands creating a strong local network of quality tradesmen and subcontractors that understand the importance of our region and the strong economy we are helping to construct.

Projects undertaken by WIP Construction include commercial and residential projects, industrial, sporting, health, government, retail, education, hotels, tourism, civil works, asbestos removal and modular construction. Our growing list of projects have been a consistent Work In Progress delivering innovative and value driven solutions to government, commercial and residential clients.
