I recently stayed here and found the rooms to be average, especially considering the price. Unfortunately, my experience was let down by the staff's attitude, which came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. They seemed disinterested in providing customer service, making even simple requests feel like an inconvenience. For the same price, I've found better accommodations in Mackay with superior service. Consequently, I won't be returning.

This was our third time staying at this property for a sporting event, and unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. In past years, we enjoyed our stays, but this time we had a disappointing experience with the staff. One staff member, in particular, was extremely rude, making our stay uncomfortable. We expected the same level of hospitality as previous visits, but sadly, that wasn’t the case. Hope they improve their service.

We celebrated our daughters wedding last week at the Windmill. It was the perfect location, accommodation, ceremony and reception venue for it all!nEverything ran smoothly ... Thanks Leanne, Kylie and team! Nothing was a problem for the dedicated and friendly staff, The food was excellent ... Very generous! This 'all in one' venue made having a wedding very easy!! The wedding was exactly what we had hoped for.  Thanks for a wonderful celebration.

Exceptional service by the entire staff and the food is honestly 5 star quality. I wish I was staying longer so that I could try more of the menu.

This motel is fantastic. It is not fancy but the rooms are very spacious, updated and modern, very clean, private and quiet. Everything was comfortable and serviceable. Very unexpected but one of the best motels this regular business traveller has ever stayed in.
