The gentleman on the front gate was lovely, the gentleman at the rubbish dump was a legend.nThe islander woman on the exit was one of the rudest people I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. She asked a question in a quiet whisper and then when I didn’t answer her exact question she proceeded to belittle me saying she doesn’t care what we dropped off, she cares what we have now.nLove, if you can’t be polite to strangers then you should reconsider your job in customer service.
The lady on the weight bridge has made me feel so stupid twice now. Made me feel I should know better but news flash lady, I don’t come to the dump very often, I am unfamiliar with what I need to do and it’s your job to help me! It doesn’t hurt or cost anything to be nice to people!!
The place is massive with modern facility. It can cater to almost all types of waste and very organised.nnAs a local in the area, we have coupons that we can use for free garbage disposal. I did some rubbish disposal couple of times and most staff in the check point - where you give your coupon and a token for the exit are good public servants.nnBut there's always one bad banana in a bunch. There's one old lady in the checkpoint counter that is rude, even when you greeted her with a smile and good morning, she still respond in an ill-mannered way and impolite.nnHer conduct is unbecoming of a public servant. If she had a bad day when she woke up for work, or from a bad interaction with other drivers, she should remain calm and professional in dealing with others.nnIt doesn't reflect to the rest of the workers. But she posseses an attitude NOT worthy of emulation.nnOn the other hand, Kudos to some Wilson Security for being professional with great public relation.
Person on the weight bridge was a nightmare. We asked a simple question and she yelled did you not hear me I said follow the yellow line, follow the yellow line. This was repeated at volume until we drove off. Absolutely shocking. They should be sacked.
Was there this morning and the big guy on the bridge on the way in was a top bloke. Explained what to do with my recycling real well.nThen stopped at the next bridge and the guy there with shaven head and beard was awesome too. Gave me a coin and said recycling was free.nnGood experience
