The place is massive with modern facility. It can cater to almost all types of waste and very organised. As a local in the area, we have coupons that we can use for free garbage disposal. I did some rubbish disposal couple of times and most staff in the check point - where you give your coupon and a token for the exit are good public servants. But there's always one bad banana in a bunch. There's one old lady in the checkpoint counter that is rude, even when you greeted her with a smile and good morning, she still respond in an ill-mannered way and impolite. Her conduct is unbecoming of a public servant. If she had a bad day when she woke up for work, or from a bad interaction with other drivers, she should remain calm and professional in dealing with others. It doesn't reflect to the rest of the workers. But she posseses an attitude NOT worthy of emulation. On the other hand, Kudos to some Wilson Security for being professional with great public relation.
First time here. Huge but really well thought out. Super friendly and helpful staff. Loved that if you used the recycling section your general waste was free. Read some of the other reviews.
Very efficient. Easy to follow colour lines. If you have recycling then you should work out the order as there are different sections for different things. Mattresses for example are first in the recycle section, so load them on top of your load. White goods and computer items are right at the end. So load them on the bottom of your load.
Nicely set out, they got recycling areas for cardboard, polystyrene, tins of paint, computers, mattress, steel, batteries and more, recycled is free to dump. Staff remind me of a bunch of friendly courteous bus drivers..... I wonder if they freelance from the bus depot across the road? They don't accept tyres.
Very clean and careful site. Not busy in the middle of the day . Supervision staff a little bored or remose . Bin chickens are nice there. Entry and exit staff are pleasant . What is missing is the understanding that the visit there is a confusing event whereas staff see it every day.
Very organised but it can be confusing if you have never been before. I struck two very rude people today who were not very helpful and quite passive aggressive in their responses. It isn’t hard to be nice when people are just asking questions.
Absolutely 100% fantastic, very busy but worth the wait , staff r friendly and very helpful, used this facility 4 nearly 20 years, will always go back, best recycling centre in the Western suburbs
