Very easy to navigate on my first visit. Dumped some old car batteries in the area set aside for them, and as they are now in the recycling area there was no charge and I didn't have to use any waste vouchers. Because I didn't have any general waste I was given a coin to use the express exit, although at 3:30pm on a Sunday there weren't any queues anyway. I expected to meet the rude lady everyone mentioned in these reviews on my way out but there was only a friendly bloke there instead!
I went on a Saturday morning there were a couple of cars infront of me but it flowed smoothly. There are helpful staff around for questions if u r not sure where something goes . Everything is easily accessible and it didn't smell that bad when I waz there
Nicely set out, they got recycling areas for cardboard, polystyrene, tins of paint, computers, mattress, steel, batteries and more, recycled is free to dump. Staff remind me of a bunch of friendly courteous bus drivers..... I wonder if they freelance from the bus depot across the road? They don't accept tyres.
The place is massive with modern facility. It can cater to almost all types of waste and very organised.nnAs a local in the area, we have coupons that we can use for free garbage disposal. I did some rubbish disposal couple of times and most staff in the check point - where you give your coupon and a token for the exit are good public servants.nnBut there's always one bad banana in a bunch. There's one old lady in the checkpoint counter that is rude, even when you greeted her with a smile and good morning, she still respond in an ill-mannered way and impolite.nnHer conduct is unbecoming of a public servant. If she had a bad day when she woke up for work, or from a bad interaction with other drivers, she should remain calm and professional in dealing with others.nnIt doesn't reflect to the rest of the workers. But she posseses an attitude NOT worthy of emulation.nnOn the other hand, Kudos to some Wilson Security for being professional with great public relation.
