First time here, we really enjoyed it. Great seating and awesome music. We usually go to the one in the Hutt but thought we'd venture out.
Love wholly bagels and grab some anytime we are in Wellington. Marked down because the vibe is missing. Also, ordered a plain bagel with butter to takeaway. Got to the car and the butter was in a takeaway container but no implements to butter it. Had to use my finger. Why couldn't they just butter it?Food: 4/5
These days it’s hard to find a place that makes decent food and is good value for money - but these guys tick that box! Fresh, quality bagels with options ranging from classic & simple through to gourmet creations. Highly recommended.
The food is great, the pizza here is better than other outlets. Staff are friendly and the service is good, it could be better though, cutlery is often not delivered with hot food, how do you eat pumpkin soup without a spoon? The location and atmosphere is pleasent but it is not clean by any standards. Often the tables are greasey with food remains, the furniture is tired, worn and broken, the walls have seen better days too as these have a thick layer of patina. Clean plates, glasses and cutlery look dirty by default which is due to wear and tear. I have returned some on occasions because it was unacceptable. Overall i would rate this place as good and the value for food is excellent, while cleanliness could be improved.
Customer service is quite good. And there are indoor and outdoor seats. Birds are everywhere on outdoor seats either inside. The environment is not what I will recommend and not for the one who is really hungry. Personally I didn't like the pizza much - wasn't the best pizza. The box is like wow and the pizza doesn't look like. Price is fair but not for the quality of taste.
I was wholly unimpressed with our visit here this week. I ordered a chicken schnitzel bagle with no onion and extra bacon. The chicken was some reformed chicken patty not actually chicken, they left the onion on the bagle and failed to add any bacon. We visited as a party of 4 ... the kids bagel came out way before the adults and then the wedges came when we had all finished our bagels over 20 mins after we ordered . Its nice the place has a play space for kids but overall the restaurant didn't appear overly clean, there were birds flying about inside and tables were tacky to touch.
Bagels look very good. Had a pizza slice think Sals American style but average. Coffee soso. The place seriously needs an upgrade as the interior looks old, tired and not well kept.
The bagels were shocking. Dry and tasteless. Still waiting for the sauce. Eggs were like rocks. Not nice at all.Food: 1/5
