COVID-19 C19 has been hard on Mr Bun Cafe Wellington, the Cafe was very quite on this lunch visit, which is unusual as this Cafe was always busy prior to C19. Mr Bun is unique in that its a large eatery and has good value hot meals and pre- made baking. The meat pies are tasty and reasonably priced.
Decent food but nothing extraordinary. Reasonable value and good place to take the kids. Dining area is quite big and open and it wasn't very busy - feels really comfortable and spacious.
Lovely, succulent roast beef. Potatoes done the old ‘Homestead’, way. Thank you Muffin Mr Bun!
Classic cafe experience with great selection of Cabinet food, including slices, pies, fried chicken and hot chips.
A large variety of simple food in the CBD. Craving chicken and chips at 9am? A quick fix
Always a comforting atmosphere here for all kiwi style tea room loving people. Hot chips with chicken salt always hits the spot. Thick slices of bread with the pumpkin and kumara soup!
Lovely cafe food also does hot meals. Has standard Cafe table and chairs as well as some lovely sofa chairs if you want to sit and relax for a coffee.
Coffee cold although I asked for extra hot. Toast was not toast. Eggs and bacon not hot. If cafes offer eggs can they please get bigger eggs as the small ones are just that... Small
Seats about 80, but 8 customers and a 15+minutes wait for a warm coffee, food adequate but i won't visit again.
Very nice cafe. Service is also good from there staff totally recommended place to others.
