A great very well hidden treasure down Left Bank Arcade... Obviously exists primarily for the sourdough bread, but also has a small but very good! selection of snacks available and brews a very nice espresso... Great, pleasant modern environment inside. The trick is to find the place to start with but worth persisting

Obviously the sourdough loaves are the main events, but don’t skip out on the well-made coffee and incredible selection of sourdough base desserts and delicious sandwiches! Get in early, or call ahead. Hours can be a bit weird but absolutely worth it.

Wow-za! I had the best coffee made for me in a long time and I also grabbed an almond croissant it was both beautifully made with love! The croissant was light, fluffy, lots of layers, with delicious almond butter! It was a first class experience. I love how the place is hidden in the arcade, makes it more of an adventure to get there! Highly recommend!! Thank you for being here Starta crew!

Very friendly staff offering excellent sourdough and homemade jams. Limited selection of sweet stuffs but all made on the day. Two tables available to have in. Supreme coffee available. I wish they offer wholemeal-based bread soon!

The sourdough bread is to die for and the fruit loaf is rich with fruit and nuts- generous baking I’d call it. My family highlight is the caramel popcorn and I have created addictions already to it! They beg for it! Haven’t had coffee there however that will be next!- the space is beautifully designed and quiet as well, so for time out and a sweet treat I’d highly recommend. A bonus to the already cool Cuba scene.

Bread-nerd mecca. Very special shop, with passionate, knowledgable, patient and kind staff. I ordered a half potato bread to snack on at the shop served warm and with butter.. some of the best bread I've ever tasted and grabbed a long sourdough loaf to enjoy at home. Memorable experience!

I've frequented many of the top coffee shops in town over the years and from my experience Starta do the best shots of coffee. The care taken in every aspect of the operation is meticulous and as a result the coffee comes out perfect every time.
