A stunning winery with a beautiful atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I could not speak of them highly enough. The flights were great to sample all their offerings and we purchased more wine as it was delicious, so was the food. Easy to find. I would definitely visit again.
Beautiful winery with exceptional amphora aged wines. Not often i go to winery and subscribe but this winery was truly a winner. You have choice between their core and 'chosen' range and I liked the fact that both were good in their own way. Food options are limited in a way as there is only three to choose from, veg, meat and cheese but don't underestimate the size of the platter as small is sufficient for two. I didn't try their dessert but holding on to try it next time. Service was excellent as they were knowledgeable and had plenty of staff to ensure you have enough to drink and eat. Can't wait to go back again and try their new releases.
What a wonderous combination of foods and delectible wines. Each of the four courses complimented and carried those before and that which followed. The servings were of ample size. A rustic setting in a voluminous building which used to be a passionfriut cannery back in the day. great outdoor spaces as well to enjoy. Great staff ready to assist. A lovely day had by all. Thankyou
One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Came here because of the great reviews but was not able to eat or drink when we visited. It was a busy Saturday and the staff refused to serve even a glass of wine. We were disappointed that they had time to make coffee but would not pour us a glass of wine. We went outside to enjoy the view instead and saw that other people had bottles of wine on their tables. We offered to buy a bottle and was still refused. I recommend to make a booking ahead of time for those who really want to go and hopefully encounter a more accommodating batch of staff.
We had the Summer Tasting Menu which was $86pp and came with seven dishes. Portion sizes were quite small but we still expected a little more when it came to the mains. Flavours were okay overall but nothing to rave about. Favourite dish was the Roasted Barramundi, cherry tomato confit, trofie pasta, pickled shimeji mushrooms. They used to have a wine float which wasn't available anymore so that was also a little disappointing.
Cute little winery tucked away in a beautiful setting between Dromana and Red Hill. The Harvest platter was delicious and a great option for us vegetarians. The Mix wine tasting fitted perfectly and the wines were of great quality. Good value for money. Will highly recommend and were happy we found this gem. Lunch on a rainy day in mid Nov21.
My family and I went here after a morning at the beach. Enjoyed the set share menu on the garden terrace, which was a perfect amount of food, great menu to share on a warm day and beautifully presented. It was a hot day, but lovely sitting outside under the umbrellas and enjoying a glass of bubbles, followed by one of their chardonnays, which was excellent. My sister had her little 9 month old with us in her pram and the staff were very accommodating finding space suitable for us and in the shade. Thanks for a lovely lunch and experience. Would definitely return.
This is the second time we’ve been to this beautiful gem of a winery and both times have been fantastic. Very friendly staff, great food and wine, with live music while we were there on a Sunday in January. We really enjoyed sitting outside, the surrounding area is gorgeous, it feels like a little bit of Tuscany. Highly recommended.
We were so glad to have had time to visit Trofeo. The estate is beautiful, steeped in an interesting history, with friendly knowledgeable staff and a great range of wines. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Definitely will return to try the restaurant too.
Amazing customer service from the front door, where the wine tasting took place onwards to the restaurant, couldn't find a fault. Highly recommended, food was divine. Thank you to the chef whom created the set menu. Definitely worth the journey down.
