Nice place and a a small range of cakes 5 and a cookie and muffin you could get. Couple of large sand which roles available too. The guy serving us was nice enough but clearly tired poor fella. It’s right near the pier so nice to walk to there from. I’ve used ‘nice’ a lot… guess that pretty much sums it up. Oh and coffee was… yep, nice.
My friends and I had such a fun time here! The vibes were very chill and the staff were super friendly, attentive, and even gave us a few laughs as we ordered our food and drinks. The food was really flavourful and delicious, we were all so satisfied at the end, and it didn’t even take that long to come out too. I’ll definitely come back again when I get the chance!!
Ordered 2x salmon 1x steak sandwich and 1 couscous. i really enjoyed the cous cous. its a great balance of flavour and the size was decent. steak sandwich was a real big disappointment. I wouldn't usually complain or leave a bad review in general if it's just the taste. But I won't compromise for quality. the steak taste was good but they use really cheap and inedible meat. All the steak that's in the sandwich are the hard chewy tender. its almost impossible to chew and swallow it. if its just 1 or 2 pieces is still alright but this is for ALL of the pieces. service prior to sitting down was really good. we were settled down in a reasonable good time eventhough they were busy. staff is really friendly. however they kept forgetting to bring the stuff we ordered 2 times. and the wait for the food was extremely long an hour plus. coffee and chocolate was cold. the poached egg for the salmon was way over cooked. we had to sent back a few cups, cutlery and strainer as it's was oily and dirty. overall, I would probably not go back again for the food. even though I really enjoyed the cous cous it's only 1 dish that's good. Staff really nice and friendly. but something needs to be done regarding the quality of the food, cleanliness, ordering system and cooking time.
A very cute cafe. Lovely food, lovely vibe. It's not very noticeable because it's not at the main street. Street parking available for free. Not a lot of options on the menu, but food was very tasty, portion was pretty huge. There's also lots of pastry in the cabinet. Highly recommend!
Good coffee and prompt service. Able to drop in on a Sunday morning and get a table. Yummy pastries on display that I'll try next time.
Horrible food and dishes available! I order their tuna salad and not only was it not an even a salad but the tuna was served in big chunks which look like they microwaved on low. The description of the tuna was medium rare but when I got my salad it looked more medium alive. The tuna was cold on the inside and warm on the outside! My friend I was with ordered a egg and bacon roll, which there’s not much you can go wrong with it but they served it with a very nasty brown paste which ruined the entire flavour of it all! The food was close to uneatable and I was practically forcing myself to eat it. For the price of my tuna salad I was expecting more of a portion. Not only was it pricey it was also disgustingly unappetising. I looked over at the people dining next to us as they stood up to leave and they plates were barely touched as they walked out of the restaurant complaining about the food as well. I 10/10 would not recommend ordering off the menu at this place. As a 4.4 star restaurant I looked forward to an amazing dining experience but I was only met with disappointment and annoyance. Please consider your choices of dining here as I write my most honest review on here to warn others what they’ll experience as well!
My husband and I were very impressed with this restaurant for its service and delicious food. My husband's lamb dish was incredibly tender and tasty. My houmous was served with freshly made falafel. As I have some allergies to preservatives, it was a treat to have homemade food. We enjoyed talking with the waiter about travelling, as well as the family at the table next to us. Kid-friendliness: There was a bookshelf with a good selection of books for young children.
Simple outdoor setting, extremely friendly and efficient staff, wide choice of vegetarian dishes, reasonable pricing, generous servings, very tasty mains and smoothies etc. what more do you expect? Will certainly visit again. I would rate this cafe as the No.1 cafe in Dromana. Period.
Very good restaurant that accommodates vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free diets. The serving portions might seem less for the price but they actually fill you up just the right amount. The food is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. The staff is also very sweet and attentive. The entire ambience of the calm and easy going, matches the environment at Dromana. Would highly recommend it. Also be sure to call ahead as it's very busy during lunch time.
Always great service food and coffee here but today takes the cake. Barista happily made my annoying coffee order and even brought it out to me 3 doors down from the cafe whilst I was wrangling the kids. Thank you guys - that little gesture meant a lot. You actually made my day.
