Our cat was recently attacked by 2 dogs and we had to get her to the vet urgently.  Unfortunately our little girl didn't make it.  The team at Cityvet were amazing. They were honest but compassionate and patient with our needs.  They gave us all the time we needed.  They made the passing of our girl easier even though our hearts are broken

Dr Alan is a fantastic vet. He has saved the lives of my dogs many times. His front of house staff and his nurses are so professional, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I will not take my dogs anywhere else.

I had an 8 week old pup that was going into rescue having multiple seizures and needed urgent medical care. As this vet is closest to where the pup was I asked for the pup to be taken there.  Due to where this pup is coming to us from, this vet has refused any help as they have had an altercation in the past over payment with them.  No one expected  you to treat  this pup free of charge. I was parked 2 doors down from you and had to get the other dogs in my car sorted before coming in. It only took me a  couple of minutes to do this.  Just goes to show your level of care towards a sick puppy is zero it’s all about money!

So I call Cityvet waterford ask if there's an appointment on a Saturday had already rang 5 or 6 other vets but these guys straight out ok what's going told them and yes bring her down we will look at her in between appointments, now this is just what I needed I didn't know what was going on with our cat and needed her looked at asap I know we could have gone straight to the Animal emergency which is where we ended up but my point is I need my cat looked at so thank you guys very much and not tell us to try somewhere else. 5 stars on service and price.

I've been bringing my pets to CityVet Waterford for over 20 years. Alan and his team are incredible. They are incredibly friendly and truly care for your pets. They treat you like family. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

all good with our pet but the grooming section is a long wait weeks I get it its summer

Megan has been looking after our best mate for the last 12 years and have found her to very caring and has gone the extra mile for us on more than one occasion. The whole team down there have always been a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend  Megan and the great team to anyone with animals.

We had to put our beautiful dog to sleep. They were so caring and respectful, giving us time to spend with her in a private room. We even received a beautiful card in the mail after.
