As a busy professional it's hard to take time for all the extra minutia of paperwork, I've been using Walsh's services for 3 years for Salary Packaging and Taxes. Their services have always been professional and catered to my irregular schedule. They have made it very easy to complete most tasks via email. and provide sound financial advice tailored to my needs and capabilities. Walsh's do offer investment and insurance options with suggestions for what would be the best fit, but I've never felt pressured to commit to any particular product offered.

I had a meeting with Peter Hodgson and was delightfully surprised at how thorough he was. He takes the time to listen, to discuss current circumstances and future plans, giving advice on how best to move forward with my portfolio and superannuation, as well as adequacy of level of insurance coverage. And they help with your salary sacrifice as well. Very happy with their service.

I have witnessed these people selling their 'services' stating to be independent, yet essentially selling Westpac products, despite knowing other products are on the market much much cheaper in interest rate and fees. They appear to be there to fill their own pockets with YOUR money between that and insurance brokerage commissions, beware who you get your advice from...

I have been doing business with Walshs for the last 4 years, and have always been impressed and happy with their service. It's a good size firm where it's large enough that they have the people to get everything done, but small enough that you still get a really personalised experience. I've recommended them to many people and haven't heard any complains yet. Last year when a mate went to them for a second opinion on a home lone they told him he had a good deal and to stay with his provider. Don't find many financial planners honest enough to do that these days! Highly recommend this firm.
