This agency does not even deserve one star. We email and then follow up with a phone call. They never return either. It is only with constant hounding that they do anything. The only thing they do with annual consistency is raise the rent. They are rude on the phone, speak down to us, for some reason they must think they are better. We are renters and will never ever rent or buy from Walshe and Whitelock. My advice is to never rent from them...avoid at all costs!

Tenants & Landlords beware!!!! Over two months to get repairs done to the roof. They don't respond to your emails or return calls. With such delay additional problems occurred and I had to issue a breach after there were serious electrical faults. Rodents have accessed the roof and caused damage, including rodent urine stains on the ceiling. Now tonight the roof has started leaking and running down the kitchen cupboards. Called the after hours and told they would send someone out. No response back to when, tried calling, sent numerous texts no response. Three hours and not a care in the world by this company to ensure the home is safe and further damage is prevented. This is an appalling way to expect a single mother and child to live, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Bloody Disgrace!

Anyone else notice that the positive reviews of this agent are from those who have sold a property, and the negative reviews are from tenants? Very telling of how these people run their business. I find them to be rude, highly unprofessional and uncaring of tenant’s concerns. Can’t return a phone call to save their life and email requests are either ignored or met with very abrupt responses that do not address the matter at hand. Look for someone else to manage your property. Do not sign a lease with them.

Completely and utterly uncontactable. We have a townhouse in a strata title. W&W are the owners corp managers. We have lived here for five years. The first four years were fine - our manager Jessica Di Fazio was always quite responsive, friendly and helpful; it was all straight forward. However, for the last 12 months I have been trying to contact Jess about getting the fence fixed and she has been completely unresponsive. It's really quite strange - we're happy to pay, just need sign off from the other owners through a fairly simple vote. Have left about 30 phone messages for her (phone and mobile) and emailed a dozen times, to no avail. She simply does not return calls or emails. I even emailed the directors twice and got no response - it wasn't an angry email, just a polite email asking for a response, as my fence is falling down. Even sat in the office foyer and no-one would come out to see me. Lodged a case with consumer affairs who also could not get in touch with anyone and recommended I go to VCAT. Figured I would just wait for the AGM, which is supposed to happen in March 2018 (now about to hit April), but haven't received a letter of notification yet... It's hard to understand why they are so unresponsive. Even just from a practical point of view, it's surely easier to just deal with the matter than to spend all that energy dodging the persistent person trying to contact you. If I owned a business and received an email from a client that my staff was unresponsive, I would for sure want to get in front of it. I assume they don't make much from their rental and owners corp divisions, but hope to leverage the good relationships into sales... so it's really perplexing, I just don't understand the business strategy. I have wondered if perhaps they are going under as a business? Or maybe they don't want to be owners corp managers anymore? All good, very happy to shake hands and part ways, and will be asking the other owners at the AGM to do just that. That is, if there even is an AGM, which is starting to look doubtful... My advice is to avoid avoid avoid!!!

Can you give 0/5 stars somehow? or -5/5? Because even 1 star suggests they do something right. Seems the landlords give them good reviews, though they all seem pretty fake, however I doubt mine would as i had to take them to VCAT which cost the owner $thousands, all because Walshe and Shitelock didn't pass on maintenance requests and refused to do anything about it. Suffice to say the owner changed agents. Im not sure its even really their fault, they just don't seem to understand what a 'property manager' is supposed to do, sure, the job title seems pretty self explanatory and sure it doesn't seem like the most taxing gig, but once they lease a place thats it, don't expect anything from them, I couldn't even get a key to the letterbox for the first month.... they also wanted me to climb on the roof to trim a tree that was dropping leaves, thats my job too apparently.... And to top it all off they are all rude and ugly people in every sense of the word. PLEASE, BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE, GO AND MEET THEM AT THEIR OFFICE, CNR ALBION AND SYDNEY RD, IF YOU CAN SIT IN THEIR WAITING ROOM FOR 10 MINUTES YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN, IT WILL BE 10 MINUTES WELL SPENT I PROMISE YOU. AVOID AT ALL COST.READ THE REVIEWS.YOUVE BEEN WARNED.
