Always love revisiting my old neighborhood and watching my grandchildren at the their sports training. Before then were my children. Such a family atmosphere and like the old days, Mr. whippy turned up. Lucky children.
Athletics, cricket, shotput, discus, rugby, rugby league, soccer personal training, frisbie sports are just some of the many sports enjoyed here
Good park to take the kids to kick a ball around
Took the grandkids to the playground they really enjoyed both the younger and older playground. We had afternoon tea under the shade.
Great place for kids to play at the park..for them to run wild on massive field.plus the beach is down the road
Excellent place to play cricket. With four well-maintained grass pitches and fast outfields, no wonder all senior grade cricket matches are scheduled here. The pitches are always neutral, with a tinge of green grass to help the bowlers but a hard surface for consistent bounce. Good shade and places to sit and watch the cricket.
Good walking track along sea side
The park has a lot of space to run, play and test anything out. Through winter and the football season the grounds are used quite a lot and can be quite busy. It would be best to check if there is football on before committing to going to the park. The split playground is really good for a wide range of ages. The fitness trail around the edge of the park is perfect for a good workout outside in a green space. The trail is pretty good through summer, spring and autumn but in winter it can be quite slippery.
Me and my son just love WALKER'S PARK
