One of my favourite parks, nice running track and picturesque walking tracks. Beware of the slippery wooden bridge in the winter months. If you're up for a longer walk, this park is just a few metres away from the shared cycle/walkway that runs alongside the train tracks.
The park have different gates for assess. There is good parking slots available , good seating benches very beautiful park neat and clean well maintained. Different swings for kids with protective mats . Good walking area too but not too long .
Nice park for kids play but don't have much for a walk. Overall it is well maintained and facilitated with toilets, water fountain, variety of kids play areas but don't hv much room for people seeking a walk.
This park is suitable for both children and adults.. This park has Zipline. Area is very wide. I could see quite a number of people in the park..
One of the best parks in the area. Parking is free within the park. The park is accessible from 3 sides. Sculptures in the part are great to look at. The walk way is great around the part. Kids playing area is a good size and different activities to cover all age range. The Olympic ground itself is huge and one an run on the tracks if nothing is going on the ground. A great place to spend an afternoon there.
Playground up the road is really good .not sure on the groups using the sports hall. I was there to donate blood. BE A DONOR SAVE LIVES.
A little bit of road works around at the moment but is a great park. Art works scattered around the park. 2 play areas and plenty of parking. Gentle walk around the park. Public toilets at both ends of the park. Close to LynnMall
Olympic Park offers a great outing. It has different play areas for the kids, and some amazing sculptures and art installations by local artists hidden throughout the expansive park. There are benches along the way, it's paved/wooden walkway throughout so pushchair friendly, and mostly level. There are some beautiful kowhai flowers and a tree with twisted branches. I saw a mamma duck and her ducklings and some fluffy chooks. The downside is that the gates are closed because of L3. If you enter from Portage Road, you have to go over the bridge and the water stinks of raw sewage. If you enter from Wolverton where there are yellow lines and no parking, good for drop offs, then you can avoid that. I wasn't able to orient myself and find all the art work, which is a bit of a shame, but a good reason to go back again.
Beaut Park - decent amount of walking paths, outdoor art, great playground. Paths and gardens are well-maintained.
Great place for kids, in Avondale, Auckland, NZ. Large, dedicated play area. One decent toilet, could use some cleaning though. Decent for a quick break in the hustle bustle of the city.
