I went with some trepidation after reading very mixed reviews.  We had a great experience.  The staff were friendly and the food selection was varied and tasty.

I just had dinner from WaiTan yesterday. It's brilliant. Think about that 138 dollar  plus 25 dollar cooking fee per kilo of lobster in this kind of elegant restaurant. It's really cheap.

Tasty and refined up market Chinese food. They're definitely aiming for the upper end of the market though with steep pricing to match. It stands out from the rest of their Chinatown neighbours

It was a top notch restaurant a year ago until they changed something. Service was different and the food wasn't the same. We revisited on 2 separate occasions afterwards and it left us disappointed.

$49 for a Chinese Buffet that is served pretty much cold. Steer clear and keep walking to China Town for some quality food.
