Maopai Dishes of Hotpot

We had the hotpot for two. It feels like the serving size had shrunk since we had last visited. Flavours were a bit lacking compared to the one at George Street Event cinema store. Overall it was a little too small for two people to eat unless you're small eaters. Definitely need a side dish or two. Service was reasonable.

Delicious, great service, decent serving sizes and perfect if you’re after a satisfying spicy meal

i love spicy hotpot here. difficult to choose first time, but once we know how to order and arrange own hotpot, it's addictive.

First time here and it was a little confusing knowing what to order. We finally decided to go with the Hot and Sour Sweet Potato Noodle and Fried Egg Noodle with Chicken. For the first one the portion was okey but difficult to finish because there was a lot of soup and not too many noodles. The Fried Egg Noodles were disappointing for the size of the portion which was small and for the lack of flavor.

Food was flavorful and portions were decent. Can also build you own dish.

A bit of struggle to order but the food is amazing so worth the effort.

Great little Szechuan hotpot near the cinema. Grabbed the Spicy soup with sausage, enochi and pigs ear mushrooms, medium chilli strength, intestine, soft tofu, lotus root, noodles, fried ginger, garlic and coriander. Trust me, it was truly gorgeous.

Extremely rude staffs. Dishes were meant to be quick, I've been here few times before it usually take around 5min to serve a simple noodle. I waited 15 minutes, as my movie was about to start in 10mins I walked up and asked if I could cancel my order, this lady yelled at me "you have 20min cut scene, your order was placed long ago, it's already in the pot, no way you could cancel your order". Very loudly, everyone in the restaurant were looking at me. Seriously, what have I done wrong? Yes my order was placed 15mins ago and the service was slow, no matter what, why was she scouting at me? The two girls who seated next to me had similar experiences, will never ever come back again
