Shancheng Hot Pot King

Shancheng Hotpot King is a pretty fun dining experience. It is better to dine with at least four in your group to be able to select a larger variety of dishes. A self serve sauce station is now available, however the sauce currently costs $3 per person at your table. It cost us $30 for sauce even though only a few of the 10 of us had some sauce.

I like that they let you customise the soup base. I chose medium peppery chicken soup with no MSG and it tasted amazing. The selection of meat, seafood, and veggies were standard like many other hot pot restaurants. I didn't like that they charged $3 for the sauce as many places would give you that for free. Overall good experience. Will come back someday.

Favourite sichuan hot place in Sydney. I really think everything here is great - the portions, the broth flavour, the quality of ingredients and the service. I've been a regular customer here ever since stumbling upon the place couple of years ago. Never disappointed, it's my go-to for sichuan hot pot.

I can say it was quite expensive but I’ve liked hotpot experience overall. It was tremendous. Meat is quite fresh, soup is hot and spicy enough. Waiters are affable and fast . The major drawback is not good amount of meat

Great food here. Recommended. Try the hot pot here and don’t forget to order mala tang and stir fry Mala.

I like thisrestaurant. Nice soup and fresh things. But little bit expensive. Also, I always think about that I hope the staff will do a little better English.

Best hotpot. Low key. IPads for menus are a nice touch. Pretty fast service considering how busy they are.

Soup were good. The chicken broth help balance the hot and spicy one. Ordering was convenient on the iPad. A range of meat and vegetable to choose from. Would be better to come in a larger group.

Delicious hot pot and cute panda! They have sauce buffet and different soup for customers to choose. Whether you can eat spicy or not, you can find your favorite here. Good for us to have group party here, celebrate birthday. And it is a good place for your lunch break! They have many choices of cold dishes and noodles. Love it.
