This Malatang was so good. I had my ox bone soup, really nice for someone who can't eat spicy food like me. The service was good. Maybe just try to improve your cleanliness. But overall the food so nice.. Perfect food for you have in raining day :
This is one of the most popular malatang restaurants in Sydney. It has a lot of meat and vegetables choices here as well. The price is quite expensive for one person but it was quite worth it. Also, the food is paid according to the weight of the food. Overall, it was a great malatang place to eat so check it out!
Malatang is well-known as the single express hot pot with the mala sauce spicy and numbing. At No. 1 Malatang branch in Sussex St, we had a very pleasant experience. Pros: self-service 1. choose your ingredients with provided plastic bowl and tong 2. Weight the food 3. Pick the broth and spiciness level 4. Pay, current price $27/kg 5. Don’t forget to make your dipping sauce. Instruction included. variety of ingredients to choose from a bowl of malatang is hearty and delicious card & cash payment accepted. Tips: There’s a discount if you pay cash Cons: limited seatings ingredients are not topped up, especially the ones for making dipping sauce service can be a bit slow due to limited staffing
classic malatang soup so goood! you should try the beef ball and lobster ball!!! put little bit sesame, chili, garlic flakes, peas and mushroom! love ittt!
Need to go back and try a different soup base but they have a lot of nice ingredients and sauces you can add to your meal.
Very average malatang place, didnt have the required tong hoh / crown daisy vegetable and the vegetarian and bone broth were average, nothing to shout about. Service was good though!
One of the good Ma La Tang places for sure. The soup has a lot of flavour and is very Spicy just how I like it. The ingredients are of good quality and I will definitely come here again!
One of the best Malatang place in Sydney. Many options of ingredients including meats, seafoods and veggies. Taste of the soup is consistent and flavorful! Ive started with mild spicy level and now i can tolerate moderate spiciness lol i think the level of hygiene is not the best as tables are quite sticky
Quick, cheap and tasty. Best of all, choose whatever you want in the hot pot, and how much you want in it. Price will depending on how heavy your bowl is. So after weighing the bowl, once the soup is ready you can choose what topping/sauces you want. I always go crazy there, because I want everything. The bowl gets too big because the options are huge in variety! Love this place . Perfect for cold weather . Already addicted:
Surely the no. 1 ma la tang It tastes really good. Cooked into perfection. I just wish the ingredients were labeled so the customers would know which one to pick and not; especially for those people who has food allegies. The staff was in a hurry taking our orders. She didn't even bother to ask which soup base my friend and I prefer.
