Stopped coz we were on a leisure drive in the country, my wife needed the restroom, and she also took the opportunity to check the car's codes with an electronic data analysis thing. There was only 1 other couple with their kid. I was glad to see that one of the playgrounds actually had a shade cloth and the other was shaded with trees, as it was about 30. It was nice and quiet, and there wasn't actually a game on as it was Sunday. I was also glad to see that a levee had been built behind the restrooms to try to help control the Murray flooding. Playground: Didn't use, I'm a bit old for them. Restrooms: Didn't use. Dog-friendliness: Probably was, but I don't own a dog. Picnic area: Pretty basic.
Stayed there for 4 nights on the long weekend. We were very impressed. The cabin was spotless. Fantastic amenities and the staff were lovely. Look forward to coming back
The nightmare at cabin 12… we were greeted with a welcome wagon of 3 wasps nests under the roofline of the porch and countless spiders and cobwebs. We hoped the onslaught of insects stopped there, but to our dismay it did not. Upon entering our cabin, we were greeted with cobwebs to the face as you entered. Spiders, spiders and more spiders. Cobwebs from rafter to rafter and spiders in every nook and cranny of the cabin. Annoyed at the derelict nature of the cabin, we advised the front office of the mess who noted there was an insect issue and for us to “spray with insect spray” and “ can you pay the balance of your room now” furious at the disgusting nature of this cabin was made worse by insects dead on everything such as our bedding and towels, mold in the bathroom and thick grey dust covering all outlets and exhaust fans. Cabin 24 housed our family members who were also plagued with spiders and crickets, one spider in particular sharing a pillow with a family member. Front office staff once again acted sheepishly and told us there was nothing they could do expect for us to spray….shared bathrooms covered in insects as per family who stayed on a powdered site advised us. We are big caravan park lovers but unfortunately you have lost 5 lots of repeat customers due to your lack of cleanliness and care factor. Beautiful town, which is unfortunately let down by the caravan park owners/caretakers. Such a lovely spot that is ruined by people who don’t take pride in their business.
Great caravan park, friendly staff, well maintained grounds and amenities. Will definitely stay here again
Friendly staff. Good facilities. Park was in flood preparation so the view was restricted because of the high levee bank.
New and clean. Playground, jumping pillow and recreation room. Huge laundry. Great camp kitchen facilities. Hot showers. Very close to the river for fishing or a stroll. Short walk to 2 great playgrounds outside the park. Was there on a rainy Sunday and 2 food trucks were in the park.
We took a standard cabin as it wasrelatively cheap but didn't expect dripping tap in bathroom, vinyl flooring lifting, smoke alarm in lounge/kitchen to be missing and curtains that appeared to be mouth eaten. But it was clean, extremely well sited had the amenities we needed, so it was ok. The other cabins looked very nice so don't be a cheapskate like me and you will be happy.
What a lovely caravan park. Amenities extremely clean, hot showers and even a personal bathmat supplied. We extended our stay. Right on the river front with beautiful scenery and walkways. Definitely a great park and friendly, helpful staff.
Beautiful clean park with fabulous facilities. Plenty to do for the kids and plenty of room for them to run around or find a pathway to scoot on. Equipped with a kangaroo jumper , playground , pool for hotter months and a recreation room. Riverfront cabin was absolutely delightful and fully equipped to be a home away from home . Ceiling fans in bigger rooms, as well as electric blankets . Plenty of hanging space for clothes if staying for a longer stay. Toilet was seperate to the bathroom which I really liked. The bathroom was delightful with great ventilation and heat lights. No fogged up mirrors to do your hair and makeup after showering . Beautiful big lounge and TV. I travelled with a friend and her children . The cabin easily fit two adults and four children comfortably. Not once did I feel like they were under our feet. Highly recommend as a get away for family or just as a delux treat for two
Friendly and helpful staff, management professional and friendly. Clean amenities plus floor towels available to use very nice. Environment updated with new plants . Firewood available for the communial fireplace.
