Was given the wrong room, booked one that sleeps 6 and ended up with 1 that sleeps 4. Room was tidy but not cleaned properly, specifically underneath beside tables had not been cleaned, lots of dust and hair ties. Only one of the bunk beds had been made why not just make both? Since money was paid to sleep additional guests Grounds keeping staff were lovely though! Very friendly and understanding. Reception staff unhelpful and rude. Definitely in a nice and convenient location, not far from lots of neat and fun places.
Staying at a dog-friendly cabin wasn't the best, but the cabin was near the beach, which was good. The bathrooms and rooms are small. The dog-friendly cabins are the best if you're staying for a week or less.Rooms: 2/5
My mountain bike was stolen from this caravan park. The bike lock was cut. Only a boom at the entrance, no gate to keep criminals out. It was mentioned that there is regular bike theft from the park. Otherwise it is a nice park.Rooms: 4/5
Nice park close to beach and 20 minute walk to shopping strip. Amenities are clean and camp kitchen is well appointed. Would stay again
Clean cabin with good amenities. Bed was extremely comfy with nice linen. Staff friendly and efficient. Great access to beach.
Very clean cabin with good amenities. Comfy bed with nice linen. Extremely friendly staff and great access to the beach.
Crime in the area is a problem. The park is very nice and the facilities are clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our holiday was spoiled when our car was broken into and ransacked just outside the camp gate.
Cabin was pretty good except for the magnetic locking system where you can't open both doors on the deck and if you accidentally shut the door or pull it together whilst your on the deck and you don't have the card you have to go to reception and get them to unlock it.And if their not there and you don't have your phone as it's inside the cabin not sure what you'd do
My experience of G’day at beachfront was quite below the average. One time I stayed at the power-site and I encountered a bulky dude, possible to be high on drugs, wandering around the camp site overnight. I found him stealing my food from the camp kitchen, it was fortunate enough I was walking by and saw it and he was not armed. I did inform the front desk, however, I was told that “look this is a campsite, and anyone can walk in”. No safety at all if you are sleeping in the car or tent. Another time I booked Economy Cabin - Sleeps 4, which was a total disappointment. The cabin smelled like a smoke cigarette chimney, no proper sanitation, poor cleaning. Everything felt damp including toilet paper, towels, and bedding. Not suitable for someone with respiratory issues. The front desk did switch me to a quiet nice cabin, really appreciated; however, it was very inconvenient and unpleasant experience. In my opinion, the hygiene and quality standards should be consistent for all type of costumers.
Only stayed one night, but had a great experience. The team were super helpful at moving my campsite as there was a vocal baby literally two metres from where I was going to set up my swag and I really needed to get some rest. Amenities were clean, layout was great, area was quiet. Would recommend!
