Stayed in a 6-berth cabin — definitely not built for six people. Super cramped, nowhere to put your clothes, and the double bed is literally in the kitchen. Honestly, it should’ve been a sofa bed so you could at least have somewhere to sit during the day.nnBedding had stains, walls had marks and grime — not a great first impression.nnShower was the only real highlight: good pressure, decent showerhead. But the light switch for the shower is in the other room, so good luck using the bathroom at night without waking everyone.nnOnly 4 beds were made even though we booked for 5. Blinds have gaps and no sheer ones either, so it’s either full light or zero privacy. One towel rack for six people, and only one car spot at the cabin.nnWifi was fine. Bed was comfy at least. But overall? Pretty rough for the price.
Good location. Rooms were a bit tired but clean. Pillows werent overly comfortable so best take your own. Close to Botanical gardens. I found it not your typical caravan park vibe where it felt super hospitable and inviting but did the trick for the 5 nights stayed. Be aware that if you take a big caravan in there as its pretty tight, not a huge amount of space. Plenty of cabins but felt like they needed a refurb. The pool was clean, not overly big but good to cool off. The nearby park you walk out of the caravan park and along the footpath. This was good for the kids to run around in. Would have been more convenient if there was a gate with direct access into the park. I couldnt see one.
Absolutely loved our stay at this camper site! It has all the facilities you could ask for—clean bathrooms, hot showers, a well-equipped kitchen, and even laundry. The location is perfect, just a short walk or drive to the city center, making it super convenient for exploring. And the best part? At night, you can spot possums up in the trees—such a cute and unexpected bonus! Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and nature-friendly stay close to the city.
To start we received a call from their office to confirm what time we would arrive, the lady on the phone was blatantly rude.nWe arrived at around 3:00pm, and had to wait half an hour for the room to be ready, couple with the owner being blatantly rude to us in the reception when we arrived.nnThe entire park smelt like a sewer.nThe legs on the bed were broken.nThe external light didn’t work, which meant we were walking through the puddle that was filling right across the entryway.nThere was water leaking from the light fitting in the bathroom after it rained.nnGreat location in relation to the Basketball Tournament, but very poor service and very disappointed with the list of issues above, I wouldn’t stay there again.
We had a great stay and have no complaints. You cannot argue with the location, and the cabin we rented we loved and would have happily stayed long term! We brought my companion animal cat - the website is dog focused, but he was accepted with no drama along from Sydney on his first ever road trip and he settled in and enjoyed a stress free stay. We enjoyed great hot water and water pressure after staying halfway to Adelaide in a traditional country hotel on the way over where we struggled to get wet, having a shower here i felt like i was being assaulted by comparison! : . We enjoyed the aircon and the pool during the heatwave we arrived to. We found NO issues, as some have flagged maybe you get back what you present in attitude, with the management, who were very nice and accommodating to me and my companion animal, and other than confirming my pet and letting them know we were running late common courtesy, i didnt deal with management in any way, as our key was left in the lockbox and everything was clean, and sorted for our stay. Again, no gripes here, the cabins are worth the money for a self contained stay and privacy. Thanks to the management and staff for a great stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
