Recently stayed for 10 nights, and what a hidden gem Port Victoria was. We have a large caravan, and it fitted nicely on the site at the bottom of the park, which backed onto the wall, which provided great protection when windy. The managers run a 'tight ship' and very efficiently. Take the time to get to know them as we found them most respectful to people who follow the rules. The toilet block was immaculate and serviced twice daily during the busy period. You can see improvements are ongoing to this old style caravan park. We liked it as we did not have to pay for facilities we did not need. Clean BBQ area and fish cleaning area kept tidy. Lawns mowed. Thanks for a fantastic stay.
Old school caravan park in a great little coastal village, read the reviews and whilst the reception was not overly flowery it was courteous and efficient, too many people probably walking in all bristled up already perhaps ? Small sites and old amenities typical of these older parks but top location with great views and easy walk to the pub and jetty. Watched a guy jackknife his 23’ van into one of the small spots so no problem for those with skills. Would stay again
Lovely well maintained park with beautiful sea views. Cabin was spotless and comfortable. With in easy walking distance to local hotel Pub meals were great jetty, kiosk and walking trails. Only downside was that the receptionist was a bit short and snappy, but then she might have been having an off day. Overall a wonderful stay.
I’ll give the location 3 stars due to the proximity to the beach and jetty. The campsite is so small and cramped together. But if you like to be treated like trash and disrespected as customers, this is the caravan park for you! We were treated like we were staying for free, disrespected from the moment we arrived. Deborah from the front desk was so rude with zero to non customer service. I have never been to a caravan park and received so much disrespect. Deborah does not seem like she wants to be there. If she is the owner, shame on her and she should consider selling off the property and retire. She was so condescending and definitely a racist! I definitely am never going back even if she pays me to stay there.
Sites were tiny. It barely fitted a car and tent. Facilities were also small and outdated. They were also dirty and not well maintained. Sites are also so cramped together that there is no room at all. Wouldn't come back.
