nW BrisbanennStayed here recently and honestly had a fantastic experience.nnI booked a Spectacular King Room with River View around $589 for the night and it absolutely delivered. The view over the Brisbane River is unreal — especially in the afternoon and evening when the city lights come on. Easily one of the better river outlooks in the CBD.nnThe room itself was spotless, well laid out and felt genuinely premium without being over the top. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the space felt calm and considered — exactly what you want after a long day.nnWhat really stood out though was the staff. Every interaction was smooth, friendly and professional. No forced niceties, no attitude — just good, confident hospitality. It’s clear the team is well trained and supported, and it shows in how effortlessly the hotel runs.nnCheck-in and check-out were seamless, the building is in a great spot on North Quay, and the whole experience felt easy and well managed from start to finish.nnThis is a very well-run hotel with a strong team behind it. I’d happily stay again and would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality Brisbane stay with a great view.
Amazing experience! Special shoutout to Holly and Norman at the front desk when we checked in. My wife and I had already asked about early check in given when our flight was landing, and we ended up arriving even earlier! They were able to find a room for us, gave us recommendations in the area and were lovely to talk to. We continued to have great service the entire time we were here!nDinner and breakfast the next morning were also great - both at the hotel. We also appreciated the large pool and the nice gym that was open 24/7 as well. Would happily recommend and stay here again!
Great hotel, amazing views, convenient location in the heart of the city. Friendly staff and great service upon our arrival. Our room was on level 33, great views from the restaurants in the building. Clean and comfortable bed, walk-in shower and bath, very spacious and funky/modern. The Lex was great for us for NYE with Ruinart champagne blanc de blanc bottle to indulge more romantic atmosphere with a balcony overlooking the Southbank and river. Very convenient to Queen Street Mall, public transports and walkways around Brisbane city. Highly recommend staying there.
Not sure where to begin because our stay was nothing short of incredible - truly a 5 star experience. We booked a river view king room last minute as our trip to Brisbane was unexpectedly extended. It was clear that the staff were well trained and intentional in their service, very helpful and nice. The room was very nice and so was the hotel. What made it truly stand out to us was all the little details put into each and every aspect of this hotel, some very intentional design choices with customer satisfaction and ease in mind. All the little ‘quirks’ in our room as staff member Dave called it when he had very kindly walked us through the room, were really just things that were incredibly well thought out design choices that differentiated the W from other 5 star hotels.nnAside from the room itself, the spa was our main highlight and we are very happy with could squeeze in an hour here during our short stay. It was nothing short of luxury, and we left feeling incredibly relaxed and clean. The spa manager is incredibly lovely and made our experience very relaxed and seamless.nnWould return here and recommend to our friends and family for a magical experience!
We myself, husband, adult son recently stayed at the W Brisbane on holiday for 5 nights and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience at this gorgeous property! From the moment we arrived from the airport, the staff was welcoming, warm, and made us feel special. Due to booking through AMEX, our rooms were upgraded - both rooms were on the 27th floor with views of the river and city and were spacious and lush. There was plenty of room to work, sleep, dress, and just sit and spend time together.nLet's talk about the breakfast for a sec . . . OMG! I don't think I've ever seen such a selection of food and drink options which were all delicious, but it is the service that sets this place apart. We were greeted by name by the hostess and servers each morning, and they even remembered our coffee orders after the first day and continued seating us at a window table after hearing us rave about the view. I want to especially thank Moriella for her warmth and smile and good energy!nWe had dinner one evening in the hotel resto, The Lex, and it was superb. The same warm and friendly and attentive service we had in the mornings at breakfast was also there during dinner. When my son's steak came out a bit overdone, the server took it back with a smile and brought him a perfect replacement within 2 minutes, announcing he would be removing the charge from our bill. Even after we said that wasn't necessary, he insisted - impeccable service once again! And if you go, be sure to order the table-side Caesar salad - delicious!nOn our 2nd or 3rd morning, I had the opportunity to meet the hotel manager, Michael Clarke, and to express our utter happiness at our experience at the W. I mentioned in passing that we would love to purchase an item that was in our room. Two days later, Michael presented us with the item and told us it was a gift from the hotel. Again, an example of what sets this property apart.nOne last special mention for Martyn in Concierge services who was incredibly helpful when we wanted to rent a car for the day. He contacted the rental car agency, arranged for the car to be delivered to the hotel and for us to complete the paperwork without having to go to the car company itself, and kept in communication with us throughout the process. He also took care of sending a package back to the US for us which was incredibly helpful.nI haven't mentioned the hotel's location yet, but it is perfectly situated if you are interested in exploring Brisbane on foot or by public transport. We visited the river front, the Queen Street Mall, the City Botanic Garden, and numerous cafes and restaurants all by walking, and it was great!nIf you are traveling to Brisbane, put this property on your must-stay list! We will definitely be back and will seek out W properties in our future travels. Thank you to Michael and his amazing team!
