Fantastic spot.nnMy wife and I stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon.nnWe stayed in the river room, and what a fantastic view of the bridge, river, and city skyline it was. Separate shower / tub combination as well made the stay feel more luxurious. Great products provided as well.nnGorgeous interior of the hotel, beautiful rooftop bar as well.nnWe didn't interact overly with the staff besides check-in/check-out, but that was very smooth and easy. Friendly and professional throughout. I would say more the communication and flexibility leading up to the stay was fantastic.nnLocation wise, being right on HSW you are close to some delicious restaurants and bars though we're biased towards Felons and Adonis, downtown shopping, and the city cat terminal!nnOur next time in Brisbane we would gladly stay at the Crystalbrook Vincent again. 10/10!
I stayed at this hotel last week. The location under the Bridge is great, but the decor of the rooms was depressing. The rooms were totally black and it was very hard to find light switches. Also my bathroom was not clean. There was a sticky substance on the toilet flush panel which transferred itself to my fingers every time I flushed the toilet.nThe breakfast was a la carte and one morning my order of scrambled eggs and bacon took an hour. The eggs were tasteless and the bacon tough. Being a la carte there was no opportunity to have fruit or croissants. In fact it was the worst breakfast I have ever had in an hotel.nI was in a tour group of senior citizens and it was not explained to us that the fob was needed to use the lift.nIf this is five star, no thank you.
My wife and I stayed from 14th–18th May while visiting Brisbane for Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium, and we had such a lovely experience. As our travel package had been arranged by others, I did look through previous reviews beforehand so I had a fair idea of what to expect — and overall, we were pleasantly surprised.nnNoise:nDespite being located under the Story Bridge, right beside the river, and surrounded by plenty of foot traffic, bars, and restaurants, we found the room to be surprisingly quiet with the windows closed. Naturally, there was more noise with the windows open, but that’s to be expected in such a vibrant and central location.nnLocation:nAbsolutely perfect. The hotel is incredibly central and within easy walking distance to the river ferries, Felons, and many fantastic riverside restaurants and bars. We especially enjoyed walking along the boardwalks each day.nnRooms:nWe stayed in a river-facing room which was very comfortable and relaxing. One small suggestion would be around the lighting and switch plates — as the rooms and décor are quite dark in colour, it can sometimes be difficult to locate switches, particularly at night. Something as simple as switch plates with small integral neon lights could make a big difference.nWe also had a minor issue with the TV on arrival, as previous guests had disconnected the streaming system to connect their own devices. However, the staff responded very quickly and resolved it without any fuss. Perhaps a quick function check during room servicing could help avoid this for future guests.nnService:nThe staff were genuinely wonderful — warm, helpful, and very responsive whenever we needed assistance, which thankfully wasn’t often.nnOverall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily stay again the next time we are in Brisbane. Thank you to the team for making our trip such an enjoyable one.
We loved our night at Crystalbrook Vincent. Everything from booking over the phone John was extremely friendly and helpful, to arriving and receiving fast and efficient service at the front desk, and then walking into a very amazing room with fabulous views of the river and bridge. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We booked the Fiume Rooftop for drinks at 4pm. It was raining and a lovely, undercover table was set up for us, looking straight through the bridge. The cocktails were very delicious.
It’s definitely the best location in Brisbane. Fun edgy hotel right on Howard Smith Wharves. This time we stayed in a River King on the 6th floor & the view was spectacular 605. Both Mews for Breakfast & Fiume for cocktails are good choices. You are literally meters from many of the beat restaurants & the impressive Felons precinct. We caught the rivercat from the wharf - about 3 minutes walk - to South Bank.
