As you would expect from the Westin, the rooms were well appointed spacious, clean and modern. Top notch service both at the front desk and at the restaurant. The only one issue, was there seemed to be excessive use of bleach on the bedding and so the smell came across pretty strongly and spoiled the otherwise super comfortable bed. Location is convenient, 5 mins walk from the shops
Booking the suite was easy. The suite was big and looked nice but missed some small details such as names and no bath plug for the bathtub.nnMissed out on the private lounge access as it’s only for 2 hours but that’s my fault not theirs.nnOverall, the stay was nice and comfortable, but paying attention to these small things could make it better and feel more like the luxury we expected for the price.
We are currently staying in the Westin Mary St Brisbane City!nFrom the off set we were impressed! Front desk service, bar service, restaurant service had been unreal!nnRoom service/ house keeping looking after our needs has been truly sad! We had to ask for enough towels for us both! My husband had used the complimentary soap once and when he went to use again, it was taken away and nothing replaced! Plus he had his own water bottle beside the bed, it was taken and nothing replaced! The one bottle of complimentary water bottle on arrival which we used was not replaced! Yes we had no access to water other than tap water which yes we could use but the fact they actually took away his own bottle left us asking why!!nnFor the cost of it being over $370 a night having the extra touches and even your own accessories being own water being taken and not replaced is very disappointing and dissatisfying for an upper end Brisbane accommodation !nnThe offset of staying here was very impressive, but the housekeeping side truly lets this establishment down very much!
Pool and bar were reserved for a third party function and unavailable to us as guests staying here. I have no idea why a hotel rents its facilities meant for guests out to third parties. We asked for a refund of night because we didn’t want to stay if we could not use facilities we paid for. This request was rejected. Terrible service and do not recommend what so ever.
Well located in the middle of town, close to everything you need. The entire hotel looks brand new, rooms are spacious and very well kept. Staff were happy to help with small requests on my trip. Happily recommend
