I’ve been a life member since August 2024 and attend four to six days a week. Virgin Active is more than just a gym — it feels like a community. The team consistently go above and beyond to uplift, encourage, assist, motivate, and genuinely support their members. It’s a positive space filled with professionals who smile, check in on your progress, and grow alongside you.nnThe recent upgrades and renovations have elevated the experience even further, with brand-new strength equipment throughout. The gym is beautiful, clean, and exceptionally well cared for.nnThe Virgin Active app is packed with features and allows me to celebrate milestones with meaningful rewards — a great motivator to keep pushing forward.nnHere, I completed my March On Challenge 96km, committed to three months of PT sessions with Heidi where I developed upper and lower body strength, and have enjoyed many genuine conversations with the welcoming reception team. I’ve also taken time to rest in the café, enjoying fresh juices and healthy salads after training.nnI truly feel better after every visit — stronger, supported, and inspired.
I have been a visitor to the gym’s cafe for a while now, and have witnessed a lot of its changes. The new space is amazing, it really makes you want to sit down and relax after your session if you have the time. The staff at the cafe also feel much more trained for the new space now, they’re quick on their feet and give good suggestions when asked.nnThe worker at the register, Claudia was very welcoming and helpful with her suggestions. She took the time to explain menu items to me even though they were clearly busy. The barista, Conti made me and my daughter the most amazing coffee and matcha! The latte art was so pretty, my daughter was obsessed. She brought it out pretty fast as well which was surprising because I could see the amount of orders coming through.nnIt seems they still need to work on having enough staff for busy times, but with that being said, their current stuff really tries their best, even if they’re busy and it shows. I highly recommend coming to this space if you have the time. It has changed a lot, and for the better. Keep up the good work!
I’ve been really impressed with the gym facilities here. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and there’s a great variety to suit both strength training and cardio workouts. The space is always clean and welcoming, which makes a huge difference in creating a positive environment.nnAll staff have been fantastic, always approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure members have the best possible experience. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into creating a supportive atmosphere, and it shows in how comfortable and motivated I feel every time I come in.nnOverall, this gym strikes the perfect balance between professional facilities and a friendly vibe. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that keeps you motivated and makes fitness enjoyable!
I can’t say enough good things about this gym! The facility is spotless, the equipment is top-of-the-line, and there’s plenty of space so I never feel crowded—even during peak hours. The staff is incredibly friendly especially Oscar West and always willing to help, whether it’s correcting form, offering workout tips, or just giving a warm welcome when you walk in.nOverall, this gym has an awesome atmosphere and makes it easy to stay consistent. If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, supportive, and truly focused on fitness, this is the one. Highly recommend!
Went into the newly renovated café this morning and had the most amazing experience.nnTheir ordering machine was broken, so it was back to good old pen and paper yet even with this, the service was still absolutely top tier.nnI was served by the lovely worker Chloe, and even though the cafe was busy and things were a bit chaotic, she still made sure I had the best experience possible. From greeting me with a smile, to double-checking my order, to literally running around the shop to keep everything moving smoothly, she went above and beyond. I was advised there might be a longer wait time for my smoothie, but it still came out quickly because she was jumping between sections making sure everything was getting done.nnMy smoothie was delicious and much needed on this hot day.nnGreat experience and great employees. Virgin should be very proud!
