This store has been here for years I think. I have visited it on many occasions.nnFor a mid size store it has quite a good range of EVERYTHING. But as usual more ladieswear than anything else. Although the men's section was quite well stocked. Ladieswear was well sorted into individual sizing which was good to see.nnPlenty of parking onsite as it is part of a shopping complex.nnPricing is run of the mill chain op shop pricing, having said that though there was some good bargains to be found if you were willing to look.nnThey have a good range of glassware & kitchenware.nnThe shop is clean & well set out unfortunately the day I visited they had all these boxes of rta furniture or something I think & while they weren't in the way, it did make the shop look cluttered
This is another hidden gem in the main part of acacia ridge. My oh my how Elizabeth St shops have changed since I lived near there 30+ years ago! They’re on their way to having a stones corner hipster feel and I like it. Bonnie’s have the funnest staff I’ve come across at an op shop so far. I was greeted by a very fashionable young man who is very well spoken and personable. I commented to him about how wonderful it is to find a store that caters to size 2-6 women’s and he praised his female boss on how hard she works all year round to locate and obtain these wonderful wears for us teeny tiny women. So if you’re a skinny minnie like me that’s having a hard time finding clothes to wear.. RUN don’t walk to this Vinnies!nUnfortunately they had no kids toys so no five stars BUT TO BE FAIR… It was the last day of the store wide 50% off promotion so don’t hold that against them like I unfortunately have
The price tags and sticky tape are put on places where it affects value of item. Books are right on front cover, pictures I’ve seen on picture, I bought glasses where it was on the lens. The books are usually ruined as far as the covers are torn, pictures left with residue, the glasses were thrown out.nnIt’s destructive and annoying.nnClothes are good, but most other stuff are top end pricing.
A marvellous 'one-stop' shop! Elaine, Jan, Robyn, David, etc. and the entire team are always ready to help! The ambience of the Acacia Ridge Vinnies, is excellent - you would never know that you are in a shop that sells pre-loved goods! This is such a credit to the staff who ensure that everything on the shelves, is clean and usable. The shop is well-laid out, has marvellous decor, and is extremely pleasant to browse around in, particularly on hot days when you can be in air-conditioned comfort while waiting for an appointment! The crystal ware, crockery and the toys and books for children are things that I veer to, and there is always something one can pick up. And most important, it is so good to know that part of the money that we spend, goes to charity! All thanks to the staff that work so very hard!!
Good range of items, well lit and air conditioned. However, I am aware that most of the workers are volunteers, but geez the workers make you feel unwelcome. Felt like they thought I was stealing, even though I didn’t have a bag on me? Not a single greeting from any staff, all staff too busy having a chin wag with each other
